Alexandria Hyundai

Alexandria Hyundai is Bad Service and Scammer

Normally I wouldn’t take to the internet to rant but a few things have bothered me about this dealership. The first thing is when you walk in and no one can even take two seconds to greet me. I walked over to a gentleman of Asian decent and he didn’t appear to have any customers, yet proceeded to put his hand up and say “No, I’m busy” First impressions are a big thing for myself and I can say not impressed.

Moving forward, I came in on a promotion they were doing to test drive a vehicle for a 50$ gift card, one of the service staff members actually asked to help me and I gave them my gift card sheet, long story short IT IS A HOAX. Two weeks later, still no email, still nothing. Seems as if Hyundai is just trying to get people in the door, not smart to lie to potential customers.

  1. Alexandria Hyundai is Scam.

If you are a woman who wants to buy a car, stay away. I guess I’m grateful that Mr. Khan did not lure me in and then show his true colors after wasting more of my time, which is what used to happen ago.

I will send him a picture of me with the car I buy elsewhere in the hope he will be friendly and respectful toward EVERY customer.

  2. Bad Service Provide.

I had a service appointment today, I arrived a half hour early and my car sat for two hours and when I talked to the service rep he told me I was next I told him I wanted my keys and left. I understand service appointments aren’t written stone but a little communication goes a long way.

I pass two other Hyundai dealers to get my car serviced at Alexandria because that’s where I brought my car and normally the service Dept is ok. I will stay in Maryland for service in the future.

  3. Diego Cordova and other employees were excellent help.

Diego Cordova and other employees were excellent help in my purchase of a new car, and trade in of my 12 old vehicle. I was treated courteously and with no pressure–lots of useful and worthwhile information throughout this process. You will be as pleased as I was.

  4. The man then asked were there any other salesman in; of course they weren't.

I walked into this dealership yesterday at 9:20 a.m. – which according to their hours, they had been open since 9 a.m. The only sales guy there at the time, didn’t even acknowledge me. I walked past the help desk and the gentlemen asked if I had been helped,

I let him know that I hadn’t but was interested in checking out the Genesis. He then asked the salesman if he could help me and was told, no as he was waiting on a client. The man then asked were there any other salesman in; of course they weren’t.

  5. This review is for their service department only.

This review is for their service department only. I have had repeated issues with the level of customer service of this service department and the quality of their work. It’s unfortunate that other dealerships are either prohibitively too far away (Chantilly, Fairfax) or are fully booked (College Park) for someone who lives in the District.

I had an issue that they couldn’t effectively fix with an O2 sensor and had to try other dealerships after three visits. Then most recently when my preferred dealership now (College Park) was fully booked for the week, I dropped off my car at Alexandria Hyundai for tire issues (on tires that they had sold me). They did not notify me that my car was ready.
