Yurz

Salespeople from Yurz will test your patience.

I used to work as a real estate agent and left practicing few years ago. Recently, I decided to start my practice as a real estate agent. I could have been an active lead for these guys, but they ruined it. I was seeking help from whatever source I could to get going. While I was looking out for the options on the older and trustworthy sites, I also wanted to try the unknown ones. I had never heard of Yurz before but when I got their call, I was all ears.

The guy on the phone talked about the customized website and other services like facebook leads and all. I was interested in what he had to offer. They also do the first page google page results which I was constantly looking to start working at. When he talked me into the services, I felt as if he was having bundle of services that I could have utilized under one umbrella.

But, the way he pitched the0 services, it was a big turn off. That guy was continuously talking without giving me a chance to ask questions. I am not new to this field. Being an agent, I know how marketing works. You need to capture the attention but most importantly the trust of your customer. And the pressure that he tried to build, made me furious.

He was talking like if I missed buying the services, I will miss the lifetime deal. When I asked about references, he ignored my question and kept blabbering about how cool they are. I was the one supposed to be asking questions. But, that guy was continuously asking all shit of questions that did not relate the subject we were into.

At last, I asked if I can get some time to research on my own and come up with the final decision. He bluntly denied. He said that I would be missing on this great offer if I waited even for a second. If he would have accepted my request, I would have already made the payment. But, that was enough to raise the brows.

He was so stubborn that I had to hang up on him. I felt as if I was talking to a machine where I was not allowed to put my inputs. I later researched about Yurz and the same feedback was spread on the internet about their pushy sales calls. People had even mentioned that the company never did what they promised, and customers had issues cancelling their subscription with Yurz.

Thank god, I understood what they were up to. I got a call from that agent another day and I sent him the links on the phone that had the same complaints against his company. He never called me back. Although, I wanted to pen down my experience to let others know how cunning these guys are. If you ever encounter any phone call from Yurz, you know what you should be doing. They would never provide you the references and will keep you asking to join. Just hang up and ignore.

  1. WARNING! This place is a scam.

WARNING! This place is a scam. They have an office in Beverly Hills that you cannot enter unless they call you up on the elevator. Who needs a building that secure? A business scam that knows what they’re doing is wrong.

The sales staff first does a cold call to a business listing asking them if they need web/advertising services. After they sign you up for the service they will do some meaningless amount of work and then your account will just sit there and they will collect payment. Their company is based of a sales staff cold calling and retaining clients. You are better off flushing your money down the toilet then giving it to these con artists.

From what I hear this company is changing their name because of the awful reputation Yurz has acquired through their business practices. Don’t believe me? Just look at their BBB profile, It can’t get any worse. Please for yourself a favor and avoid this “business” at all cost.

  2. Waste of money!!

I was promised a customized website and didn’t get that. Asked for help with building the generic site they had as a template and no one helped. 8 months of no follow up to see how my services were going. I asked to get the reports of the traffic going to my site.

They never set that up until 7months into the service. I asked to cancel and they forwarded me to call a number, of which I did and was on hold for over an hour (who has time for that). They basically took my money and didn’t care to provide what I was promised. Waste of money!!

  3. Stay away.

I would leave zero stars if possible. I used to work here, so please believe me when I say that this place is actually a SCAM. Basically, they offer to help you and say everything that they can to get you to sign up and then you’re on your own after that.

This place is more of a telemarketing kinda thing. The negative reviews are true. If you see a positive review I am 99% sure that it has been written by someone within the company as I’ve seen them written. Stay away.

  4. They are utterly useless.

This the worst company that has stolen money from countless people. They “lost admin privileges” to my account, didn’t notify me, and still charged me for work they didn’t do.

I called to cancel my account, was informed that it was cancelled and yet they still charged me. They refused to refund me because they had “no record” of the call or that I had cancelled my account. This is the worst company. Do yourself a favor and find a better company to use. They are utterly useless.

  5. Don't sign on with this company.

Don’t sign on with this company. I cancelled it over a year ago. My credit card had been stolen so I gave them a number of a card I never use to charge the last month to. Only to realize last month that I have been on autopay for this credit card and they have still been billing me.

I have talked to someone twice since then but the “one person” who can cancel my account is absent and she will call me tomorrow. But no return phone call. I am fed up. Don’t get ripped off like I have. I am looking into what I can do to file against this company for the $2,000 more or less they have stolen from me.
