Yorkiespark.com, Cathryn Green, USHIP-Pet Shippers

I purchased a Yorkie from Cathryn Green at the Yorkiespark website. She took my money then referred me to USHIP. They ran me through the shipping scam ($3000 travel crate, $1000 insurance, $1700 quarantine, and vaccination).

I ranted at them, but shame on me, I paid even though I thought it was a scam.  They were compelling, and I wanted that dog.   They asked for another $725 for a city permit which I knew was bogus.   I told them to keep the dog (if there was ever even a real dog) and send my money back.

Of course, that never happened.  I emailed the seller with a strongly worded complaint, and she wrote back saying I should have been smarter and that she was not connected to the shipper.

[email protected]. I called her a liar because the email address she gave me to buy the dog was the same email address the shipper gave me to pay them.  I highly doubt they independently came up with this address.

I haven’t heard back from anyone since.

Please be cautious when buying a puppy out of state.  You’re better off driving to the breeder yourself to pick up the dog.

Don’t fall for Yorkiespark’s and USHIP’s scams.
