Vermont Urgent Care & Multi Spe...

Extremely Shady

I came to Vermont Urgent Care & Multi Specialty Center due to a kidney infection, which was easily treated.

Flash forward a few months and I receive a bill from my insurance for $1600 to cover an “office visit” and “urgent care services.”

I saw Dr. Samouha for maybe 20 minutes and got a prescription for antibiotics.

What about this should cost $1600?? And why are there two separate charges for a single visit? This is extremely shady.

  1. It should be improved to make better customer service.

The staffs are really so friendly and I like their service, enough happy feel.
But they are not really worth of 5 stars because they are not so hurry even lack of skilled persons, Waiting here for completely unnecessary is just horrendous and feel so uncomfortable. It should be improved to make better customer service.

  2. Its a scam.

I haven’t been here in over a year and am just now getting a bill for services rendered over a year ago. The bill says the money is due upon receipt. I called the billing company and they said it was the fault of the urgent care center for not mailing them the bill until now.

I just assumed that my insurance had covered everything and didn’t expect to get a bill a YEAR later and be expected to pay it immediately. So, while everything may be great while you visit, make sure you have $500 saved up when you get the bill a year later.

  3. He scolded me "This is NOT the doctor-patient relationship!"

I like the nurse. I find the Doctor very annoying, especially his “My Darling.” Last time, I had unfortunate results from the labs. I wanted the nurse to go over it with me but she already left for the day.

Unfortunately, the staff wouldn’t just give me the results. I had to sit with the doctor. He wouldn’t give me the copy. Instead, he scolded me about why I didn’t make a followup appointment.

I was too polite to tell him the truth that I find his “My Darling” stupidly annoying and he kept wasting time with small talk. I told him to just give me the labs. So he fumbled with his iPad log in.

He kept telling me bad news after bad news. He had MY labs in front of him like some privileged elite. I wanted to SEE the labs for myself. So I scooted over to his iPad to look at it. He scolded me “This is NOT the doctor-patient relationship!”

  4. This place is scam and needs to be shut down

This place should be shut down immediately. The doctor is so arrogant and acts as if he knows what he is doing but he doesn’t. I went in for a simple cold, he tried selling me bunch of medication that costs much cheaper at other pharmacies .

After posting a negative review, the office calls you and pushes you to remove them. I knew something was definitely wrong when after searching the doctor’s license on the medical board,

I realized the place is not even registered to be opened. After reporting this doctor to the board, I was able to find licensing details for the facility. It clearly states, “delinquent, licensee failed to certify compliance with the continuing medical education requirement’. I am surprised they are still in business. This place is scam and needs to be shut down
