I got a call from a lady who was not ready to identify herself few days back. The lady was rude and was not listening to me. I told her that I would not disclose any personal information until she told me the company’s name for which she worked. She only told me that her name was Sarah. I could make out that it was her dummy name.
However, I insisted to know about the company she worked for. Because she was persistent, I disconnected the call. She called again. She was not going to give up. She said that she could give me all the details if I told her my name and date of birth. I was exhausted. It was around 5’0 clock in the morning according to my time. I had a meeting to attend later in the morning. I needed a good sleep and this lady who was calling herself Sarah, was bugging me.
I told her that the time wasn’t convenient for that kind of conversation and requested her to call after few hours. I told her the time at my location. She kept going on without acknowledging what I had to say.
It was very rude. She even had my home number as well as mobile number. I was not in a position to get out of bed to reach out to my home phone number which she was constantly calling whenever I was disconnecting my mobile phone. So, I told her my name and date of birth. After verifying those details, she told me that she was calling on behalf of Texas Guaranteed with whom I owed some debt.
You would be shocked to know that all that hard work and torturing was for $5 debt which was not even overdue. It was less than a month that the amount was borrowed from that company. I at least deserved some sleep and a courtesy while she was busy harassing me. I have dealt with so many companies like these and this was the first time someone had bugged me so much for $5 even before I crossed the due date.
All she wanted to tell me that the due date was approaching and if did not make the payment, I will bear fine. Can you imagine that? Someone calling you so early in the morning to tell you that you owe $5 debt.
Is this company such a miser. I am never going to use services from Texas Guaranteed. One thing is for sure, this lady does not have manners, or she has been trained to be such a pain in the ass. Mind the language. But I was literally wanting to sue these people for disturbing my personal time for no important reason.
This happened twice that week. I had to pay the debt long before the due date to avoid the calls. All because I wanted to have no one disturb me in the middle of my sleep. This company is bogus and full of crap.
