Made A Mistake
Do NOT under any circumstances use Terri Toro – GMH Mortgage. They preapproved me for over $500K (this was the process where they pull credit and ask for taxes etc… It was thorough).
I eventually settled on a house and needed to finance just $180K.
The down payment was substantial and the equity based off of the appraisal was almost 50%.
The week before settlement they told me that they made a mistake and would not finance the loan.
They had at least 45 days prior to this to tell me about their mistake and their inability to finance. Do NOT use this company.
They had no remorse for their actions and their pre-approvals are not worth the paper that they are written on.
