“Sooper Credit Union ” is a joke.  I mean, if you like banking as if you’re in a time machine, go for it.

Their technology is unchanged from the 1980’s.

For instance, wanna see a copy of the check you deposited? Not gonna happen.

Deposit a check from your phone and save the trip to the branch? Sorry Charlie.

Traveling and your card is flagged for fraud? Wait till Monday for their 24 hour call center to open.

They lock down your card and DON’T EVEN CALL YOU? They cover their asses while screwing you.

Also, so much spam mail offers for life insurance and garbage I’ll never need.

THIS IS NOT HOW BANKING WORKS.

Sooper CU, great if you never need to actually USE the bank.

    I recently went into the branch and opened accounts for my nieces and nephews. The employee I worked with was very personable, professional, and friendly.

  2. I constantly have problems with utilizing my debit card for online purchases.

    They are usually easy to deal with and provide adequate service. However, I find the way they handle debit cards a bit silly and ridiculous. It’s the one thing I absolutely hate about doing business with them. I constantly have problems with utilizing my debit card for online purchases.

    This is the worst bank ever. I would not recommend this bank to my worst enemy. They charged me over $1000 in fees for failure to provide insurance despite me faxing the paper work to them over 5 times. They have the worst customer service.

    My boyfriend went to the atm ( in grand junction) and accidentally left his card in there and we returned 20 minutes later to see that someone turned it in and they already shredded the card. Stupidest thing I have ever seen.

  9. This is the worst company to work with!

    This is the worst company to work with! I had my car loan financed through them and when I would talk with customer service on the phone they provided the rudest service that made me feel belittled, like I was stupid and even got hung up on twice while in conversation with their customer service. Every time I had a phone call with these people, I left feeling sick to my stomach.

    I have had very bad experiences with this Company. I could not wait to sell my car so I would not have a loan through them in fact! Auto Dealers should NEVER use this company for their own customer satisfaction and reviews because a car buying experience carries on after you leave the dealer lot… the experience with their choice of financing company leaves customers most likely not returning to that dealer for fear of using this lender!!! I feel the pain of any other Sooper Customers out there.

    It totally sucks! The business doesnt even seem to care. They seem to have a horrible company culture. Open your eyes Board of Directors for Sooper Credit Union!!!

  10. I have always had the worst experience with Sooper.

    I have been a member for 4 plus years. I have always had the worst experience with Sooper. I kept my account with them due to a credit card with them. When I first received my card I had to use it for my fathers funeral.

    I was making double payments on the card for over a year. When we went to purchase our home they decided to report to my credit report that we were late for 3 months. It took them over 6 months to fix it after I consistently disputed and talked to the credit card lady that works at the Arvada location.

    I recently moved out of state and have tried talking to them about paying my credit card payment. I spoke to 6 different people and no resolve on how I would be able to make a payment due to my credit card not showing on the share branch side. I tried making several deposits on the mobile app and each time they hold the check for 7 days, then charge my account 5 dollars for the me depositing the check. The charge is because I need to keep a certain amount in the savings even though I was advised by several employees that I didn’t need to have a amount in there due to my account is open for the credit card!

    I been making consistent payments except for November-December because of Harvey when I called to speak to them about the situation they could careless that we were in a disaster area. EVERY TIME I CALL THEY EXTREMELY RUDE! I can’t even stand calling them because they are such mean disrespectful employees. Stay far away.

    I had funds illegally removed from my account and the credit union would not stand for me. in addition I paid off my car loan early and they refused to give me a single dollar off. screw ’em. claim they look out for customers and do nothing but screw us.

  12. when they updated their online banking I had to use chrome which wasn't configured correctly.

    when they updated their online banking I had to use chrome which wasn’t configured correctly. I just downloaded chrome and ran it. it didnt work. No other browsers work. Now I have ZERO access to my account. I got no assistance from sooper on how to fix anything. Four days now and still NO access to my account.
