Smart Choice MRI

I Received Were So Blurry

Not good, many of the brain & cervical images that were taken-I received were so blurry couldn’t even view them…but still had to pay the full price.

Their Dr. or who ever did the MRI report for them flew through the images had the first report done in about 5 minutes, the 2nd report done in about 10 minutes.

How can you correctly review all those images and also write the report for them all in around 15 minutes?

Far as I can tell after viewing the images my self at home he miss reporting MS legions on the brain and cervical…I don’t think I will ever go back there for another MRI…

  1. I had an MRI today on my lumbar spine

I had an MRI today on my lumbar spine The offices are well decorated and you have your own room to change and store your clothes I was offered music and blankets for procedure

  2. never again!

Called my insurance company and they told me they were billed $1200 by SmartChoice and per their deal with them they were allowed to bill me $600 out of the $1200, which is the bill I got.

I explained how I already paid $600 in office and she said they are never made aware of what is paid in office and that I absolutely should not be paying more. When I called billing back to explain,

  3. I went to this location a few months ago for a scan.

I went to this location a few months ago for a scan. I was given a quote over the phone and was told that I would have to pay for half once I got to my appointment and the rest would be billed to me.

Once I got there, I signed off on an “estimated” amount that would be billed to me that was actually less than I was originally told, in the $400 range instead of $500, great! Until I got a bill a week later for $600.

I called to ask why and the lackadaisical billing person told me it was bc I had two scans. Called my insurance company and they told me they were billed $1200 by SmartChoice and per their deal with them they were allowed to bill me $600 out of the $1200, which is the bill I got.
