SkinOvation MedSpa

Felt uncomfortable

A few weeks ago, I booked a 50-minute Swedish massage.

When I arrived at the hotel, the staff informed me that they would be sending a male therapist to my room.

The spa was professional-looking and had received excellent reviews. This did not bother me.

The male therapist quickly entered and asked me to change my clothes and put the sheet on before beginning the massage.

I did what he told me and waited for him to return. Once he returned,

He didn’t explain what he was doing or ask me about sore spots or injuries.

He just started. This is quite alarming.

Thirty-five minutes into the massage, the therapist asked me to turn over and lie on my back.

Then he covered my breasts with the sheet.

The therapist then covered my whole face with a towel, which I found alarming.

After a few minutes, he began to work on my neck and chest.

Then he exposed my naked breasts and continued to massage them.

I was completely shocked and had no idea what was happening.

I didn’t know what to expect from my first massage.

However, I knew that I felt uncomfortable.

I was so upset that I left I called a friend and asked if it was customary to feel this way after a massage.

It was sexual assault. I called the manager a few hours later to complain.

The manager offered me free services in exchange for my complaint.

I declined, as I didn’t want to go back to that spa.

I hope that no one else does. Times up.

  1. This star goes to the manager of this place Anna

Anna, the manager of this restaurant, is this star. I had never met this person in person, but she was vulgar over the phone. I asked for a refund of the prepayment I made to this spa. She refused. This money was not used for any procedures.
This is not the way to treat your client if you want them to stay. I was offered facials and massages in return for my prepayment. I could assure you that she would show me if I needed it.

I’ve never had such excellent customer service before. Anyone who is going to be there for any assistance, please make sure that you don’t prepay, especially before you come in !

It is so frustrating for professionals who have to build relationships with clients. Then, someone like Anna destroys it in one conversation.

  2. I was given a Groupon couples massage gift certificate to SkinOvation.

I received a Groupon gift certificate for a couples massage at SkinOvation. I have never been before. It was a great atmosphere, the space was clean, and it smelled amazing! Khakia & Zakro did a great job! We will be back!
One tip: Keep the reception quiet. You want to relax and enjoy your massage.

  3. Highly recommended!!

This place is highly recommended! Negative reviews are not genuine, I believe! This spa has been my home for over two years. I have received nothing but exceptional service every time I go. The staff is friendly and professional, and I’ve met some of the best in the business! I’ve tried laser hair removal, facials, and massages. I can attest to their effectiveness. My face looks younger, and my skin has changed. Kate, their therapist, gave me some of the most relaxing massages.
They are also very affordable for the quality services they offer. I have always received great discounts from them. They care about their customers and will work with them.

  4. I would not recommend going here.

However, I am disappointed with the services that I need to share. This was a horrible experience. My service was unprofessional and ill-experienced. The atmosphere was not inviting and was less than comfortable. This place is not recommended.
