Simonian Sports Medicine Clinic

Any Type of Treatment

My 14 year old daughter is in constant unbearable pain and I made appointment With Simonian Sports Medicine Clinic but was unable to get her in to Dr Simonian for 2 weeks.

In the mean time I got her in with another doctor who completed an MRI but again he could not see her for another 2 weeks after MRI.

Dr Simonian’s office refused to see her until we could get copies of MRI and other doctor’s review of MRI.

Even after explaining and pleading that my daughter’s pain is unbearable.

I understand protocol but do not understand the easy dismissal of a patient’s pain.

Now my daughter must go probably another 4 weeks just to see a doctor to interpret her MRI and then another 4 weeks or longer for any type of treatment solution.

If it was the doctor’s child I’m sure they would understand my distress.

  1. I kept telling Dr. Simonian that something wasn't right with the knee.

I was out of work for over 5 months. I kept telling Dr. Simonian that something wasn’t right with the knee. I had pain, swelling, and it wouldn’t support me. He said it took time. Then I was told it was arthritis, and the latest is that it’s my back. I have absolutely nothing wrong with my back. Half the time I talked to a PA or office staff rather than Dr. Simonian.

As far as I’m concerned, he left me a cripple. Fortunately, I have been referred elsewhere and look forward to finally walking normally again. Another woman my age, who had the same surgery the same month, had to retire after her surgery. Dr. Simonian also told her the problem was arthritis.
