Scott Yancey

Scott’s real estate training is a bait for their scam

Scott Yancey sells his training on real estate to trap people into investing in his real estate scam.

I joined his training in San Francisco and paid about $22,000 in total.

The instructor, Tim Anderson, told us that we do not need to invest in million-dollar homes in training.

He even informed that the $500,000 was readily available for purchase and repair homes through them.

As per the CBS report, the average value of the house in San Francisco is $925,000.

As Scott Yancey and the team provide 20%-40% of the market value, they offer very low financing.

There are other companies which supply 90% to sometimes 100%.

Scott Yancey provides $500,000, which is much lower than the average value of homes in San Francisco.

I paid $1,997 when the training started, and they ask for the remaining $18,997 if you wish to know the precise information on real estate investing.

In short, they allow you to sit in their training with the first $1,997 investment and then will ask you for $18,997 if you wish to learn about their tactics which are not worthy of the amount they charge.

At first, they provide the DVDs, which quote, “don’t worry if you do not have money.”

Later, when you ask them for the funding, they will ask you for a high-paying job and to put 5% – 10% of the total funding amount from their pocket.

It would be shocking to know that they asked me to arrange for the buyer and the seller at the same time to get the funding from them.

My question is, “Who will sell their house to Scott Yancey when they are getting much more money from another company.”

These goons are way more clever than you can expect and would brainwash you to make a profit.

Who pays such an enormous amount for training to get pennies in return?

I did, and many others as well. It was because they knew how to lure people into investing.

They make it sound so easy that no one can delay paying them the rest of the amount for training.

I want my refund that they are not ready to pay.

I knew it would not be a cakewalk to get money out of their pocket when they are the master players.

Scott Yancey and his team of goons are smarter than you think and would take different turns to make you believe in what they say.

Their promises are fake and illusionary. To date, Scott Yancey and his firm have not made any great success, proving the above claim incorrect.

Scott Yancey is a fraud and would make you repent later. I am still struggling to get my money back, which seems impossible.

  2. They remind me of a Time Share with high-pressure sales associates, and there's no getting out of it once you are in.

It would be nice if there were a way to tell people that a group of lawyers is investigating this SCAM. It is hard to imagine the impact this has had on many people who went there and spent all they had.

We spoke with other people who bought the “Diamond package,” They agreed that it doesn’t work. They are like a Time Share with high-pressure salespeople. Once you’re in, there’s no going back.

We found a real investor that offers classes starting at 6K. It costs eight times more to complete their SCAM classes than it would have cost if you had not paid them.

Maryland’s “real” investor stated that they couldn’t know the laws in each state, so they had to learn from the state regulations.

  3. Scott extorting in the name of Real Estate Investing.

Not long ago, my husband and I watched our Sunday morning routine program on the television.

After the program got over, I started changing channels randomly.

After changing one after another, I found a Real Estate Investing program.

This program seemed interesting to us for a couple of reasons.

My husband and I had made up our minds earlier this year to start putting our money in real estate to get the maximum possible benefits.

And coincidently, this program talked about how to invest in real estate.

This program featured celebrities like Flipping Stars from Vegas and the famous pair Scott and Amy Yancy.

As my husband and I were planning to put our money into real estate, we have been enquiring and learning a few materials available on real estate.

We have been attending seminars of Remax Advantage Plus and the Minnesota Realtor Investors group.

I have personally taken an interest and made sure that I have purchased and read books like Land Trusts, forming LLCs, Real Estate Investing, and Financing Real Estate.

The other reason to mention our research on real estate investing is to make sure that whoever reads this does not think that we went to the seminar conducted by Real Estate Investing with a fold on our eyes.

On the other hand, the seminar was meant to be free of charge, so it quickly convinced my husband and me to register for it.

I still remember how fast things were going, i.e., on 31st June we saw the advertisement and registered for the seminar to be taking place on 5th June.

As lucrative the promotion seemed, so was the seminar in reality.

Scott and Amy, who were supposed to be hosts, looked pleasant on the video shown to us at the start.

The celebrity pair explained to us how they started investing.

They said there was a profound reason behind their investment.

According to Amy, they wanted to do some charity, for which they decided to give a rejuvenated house to a vet.

Being the host instead of Amy and Scott, Steve came forward and started to give a brief about how Scott and Amy began to with a reason, and we should also participate and join our hands with Abundance Edu.

He explained how Amy and Scott started for a reason, and we should all have a sense and start investing.

He mentioned how investing 2194 USD would allow us to have information about 100’s of houses that were specially chosen and were bought off tapes of the central banks.

Not just that; he also made sure we were made to see some examples in our areas.

In a nutshell, he seemed very convincing.

His offer was simple: his company had access to all this information.

If we had to get that information, we had to undergo the training from his company.

After undergoing the training, we were meant to have access to all such houses in our area and in addition to that, we would also have access to the financing which had better rates and interests than the others.

In short, he made sure that the offer looked mouth-watering.

My husband and my motive to attend the seminar were to learn about real estate investing.

We wanted to make sure that we were bound to receive the benefits if we invested.

The offer made in front of us was that we were bound to earn a profit if everything went according to Steve’s saying.

To put pepper and salt on the dish prepared, he introduced us to Tish, who was from Wisconsin.

Tish was a student of Amy and Scott, and she said she got involved in this training as she had a daughter who had given birth to twins.

However, these twins were born with disabilities.

Like me and my husband, Tish and her husband opted for the training, learned a lot from it, and solved their daughter’s problem.

This is how we were made to see; firstly, the benefits people gained while opting for the training, and then, we were made emotional at the same time.

Almost everyone who attended the seminar was emotional and wanted to opt for the program.

My husband and I opted for the training.

What started from a free seminar now took 2194 USD per person from us, and what is coming next is even more shocking and threatening.

    It is extorting.

We paid the required fees in installments.

This ensured that we would be present in the three-day real estate investing training. It started on 12th June.

It was scheduled at Hyatt Regency, and here we were greeted by a bunch of four: Darin, Garin, Rob, and Brandon.

Brandon was the one who guided us to our name tags and the information form that we were supposed to fill out.

This information form was quite interesting as it asked about our credit card details—the amount of loan we had on our house, etc.

It had confidential information that a person would reveal to only a few others. Before the start, we happened to sit beside a gentleman from the Caribbean.

He told us how he and his partner, from Minnesota, had attended many such seminars.

Flipping Boston stars put on these seminars, but he informed us how these seminars were scams to get a considerable amount of 30000 USD from you.

In the meantime, Garin, the seminar consultant, showed up and started shouting at that person.

He was screaming at that person for talking with us.

I wish I had understood this signal and opted out of the seminar, which I did not.

And what came next was worth a lot of learning in every other sense but Real Estate.

We sat down in the seminar room. Then came the devil Garth.

Devil Garth kept us turned on with the heat of extortion for the next few hours.

He started by informing us to rub our hands for our teacher Deno. In this exercise, he was an avid observer.

He ensured that people who did not do that were punished by his brutal screams.

He started saying that from now onwards, till the seminar ends, every other person needs to participate in every other exercise they are told to.

His exact words were,” I would not tolerate it for long because I am sick and tired of non-doers.” Deno explained how he began his journey in Real Estate investing.

He told us about his wife, Melissa.

After that, we were given a break, but we couldn’t talk with each other.

This was very strange because, frankly speaking, it would have been nice if people interacted.

Then came Deno again, who told us that getting access to the tapes and all the information promised to us in that free seminar would cost us 30000 USD.

It was still afternoon, and the natural color was starting to shine out.

All other lucrative colors faded away, and the natural color was visible.

Deno did not allow to ask us any questions. When an older man in front of us tried asking, he belittled him.

This seminar ended somewhere around 6, until which we were completely drained out.

There was no wish to learn anything else about Real Estate in my or my husband’s minds.

During the lunch break, also we were informed about giving them 30000 bucks and how are they going to benefit us.

I think they were extorting us. Their way of asking was rather not their way of asking. It was demanding.

They gave us a script on how we should talk to our credit card agencies to get our limits a little higher than what it was.

I am husband in no mood to do that. We had done that a little bit earlier, and we could not hope to do that again and again.

If that would happen, he would rather demine our limit from what it was.

Every moment in that seminar room was a huge lesson to be learned.

People should learn after viewing this feedback about how other companies, in the name of knowledge, rips Layman off out of several thousands of bucks.

There was no teaching and only threatening that we got to know.

We were not having access to a single house or their finances. On further enquiring, we know that this company has many names.

It uses a new word every time, so they stay elusive.

However, the number of specifics that I have written in this feedback would surely make you capable of catching them.

PLEASE USE THIS INFORMATION AND DO NOT LET THEM EXTORT YOU

  4. Scott Yancey is an absolute horrible person.

Scott Yancey is a horrible person. I am in awe of how he treats his peers—always yelling, cursing, and blaming others for issues, when he does no work at all himself. I have previously watched “Flipping Vegas” a few times, all of each.

He treats his workers HORRIBLE, and they never do anything good enough for him. I cannot say I hate people or television shows, but I would never recommend this pathetic show and the terrible people featured in it.

  5. Public beware

pure hype all crooks him and amy selling you a 30,000 dollar package to learn what they do they pay 200 for hotel 200 for the bagged lunch/dinner and give you nothing they promised for free , and what they do give you is 3 hours of bull shit and they stop in the middle to sign you up

  6. I can't say.

Two stars. Not saying it is awful, but…. truth in advertising or upfront disclosure is usually not a friend to those trying to sell you something, and that is very true here. WILL YOU go on to succeed and make money in Real Estate after attending that first FREE Seminar at the local eatery where the presentation is being held? Absolutely not.

WILL YOU go on to succeed and make money in Real Estate after attending the 2 or 3 day Seminar you paid $1350 for at that first Free seminar. Again sad to say, No!

That second presentation is way more intense and hard sell than that first one. It has to be. The absolute priority of the 2nd presentation is to get you to spend $39,000 (your pitch cost may vary, but not by much).

WILL YOU go on to succeed and make money in Real Estate after you to spend $39,000 and get fully involved with this large organization? Maybe; I can’t say.

  8. Bad Service

Hello Scott Yancey, we appreciate you letting us know that someone would contact us within a week, but it has been almost two weeks and no one from your company has contacted us. Please advise.

  9. I really hope they leave me alone soon.

My husband saw their infomercial and thought this event would be beneficial. So we signed up to attend. The next day while at work my phone rang 8 times from an unknown number- no voicemail left.

I finally answered (annoyed at work) and this lady wanted to confirm that we would be there because there is a BIG waiting list. After doing research on this event- I decided that it was a scam and we weren’t going to attend.

I called the number back- told them we weren’t attending and to take my information off of their records because I did not want to be contacted. Case closed? Nope.

They have e-mailed me 3 times today already (it is only 10am) pretty much begging me to go. Ok, if you have such a big waiting list why does it matter if we go or not. DO NOT give these people your contact information. I really hope they leave me alone soon.
