Rod Monger

Like many other Islamic countries, Afghanistan is under the shade of literacy and primitiveness. Many will agree with this statement. However, the ones at the top, using it for their profit will not. The corruption is at the peak and whosoever rise their voices are suppressed.

Afghanistan supports those who feed to these predators and bow down in acceptance. There is a recent example which provokes everyone to think about the intense religious hypocrisy. Few months back, Rod Monger from USA took the “Shahada”. He is a professor of business at the American University of Afghanistan. Shahada refers to testifying to the oneness of God and acceptance of Muhammad as Allah’s prophet. He converted his religion from Christianity to Islam.

Many celebrated the occasion as if it was something monumental. However, few know that this is just another nefarious step to boast the illusionary respect of the religion. This is not the first time that Afghanistan was duped but it has been happening from centuries. Either enemies from within or across border, keep terrorizing or manipulating people of the country.

Long back, an Englishman took the same step and learned all the customs. He became Imam at Pul-e-Kishti mosque in Kabul and suppressed everyone who tried to go against the anti-modernization of the country.

At one instance, Islam restricts homosexuality and on the other, it empowers people like Rod Mongers to convert to Islam. Dr. Rod Monger is homosexual and has been named with many afghan’s male.

I am not making this statement without a base. Last fall, Khaama Press reported about the five-international staff at AUAF who are homosexual and Dr. Rod Monger was among them. I have gone through a lot in these many years being gay but these people who are backed by big names get all the privileges.

Rod Monger is friendly President Michael Smith, the evangelical Lutheran. He is the one who backs him and also known for reflecting the hypocritical fascia that suffuses Afghanistan. Rod supports his idea and that is the reason, he is close to him. On the contrary, my preaching of Aristotelian ethics in the classroom became a threat to the bestowed interests coming out of corruption.

Rod Monger, being American has taken Islam as his religion which is quite surprising. Who knows what hidden agenda is he carrying? He was married twice with women. But soon he after he crossed his youth and entered his midlife, he realized his interest in men and shifted to Afghanistan.

It breaks my heart to say that my own people ditched me and they do not have any remorse for that. The law wanted me to conform to the rule which I denied and had to lose my job. But they are too blind to see in case of Rod Monger.

I do not have any personal motive for bringing this to the attestation and I also do not want to involve myself slandering anyone. But, the pain to see innocent people getting ill-treated by these foreigners and Afghanis in power, cannot be hidden.
