Poor Practice And Communication

Rental Kharma, I wanted to take a moment to at least inform you at minimum my public consumers perception of poor practice and communication.

Despite the fact you feel refusing a refund is substantiated by a less the acceptable level of quality effort… i would like to take a moment to show you the concern.

The response email clearly shows The renter is attempting to report an unauthorized sublease

This is an accusation and based off pure ignorance without due diligence.

I’m sure public records showed the home owner to be Carla and i reported William.

Carla and my farther are domestic partners and have been in a relationship for over 10 years. Who do i pay rent to?

My father and in the aspect of who is managing the property the answer is correct.

The term unauthorized was never verified or validated and if asked i would have given Carla’s number.

Insulted and left with a bad taste over the the accusation that is then further fulled by telling me the “good news is We have not reported your attempt to add false rental payments to your credit file to any state or local authorities or the credit bureaus”

No let me revert the good news, Nothing was false and you saved yourself a lawsuit by not reporting any potentially damaging information that would have been a direct FCRA violation.

The unprofessional communication did however irritate a busy consumer to write a review.

PS to add to it, the address i’m reporting is already reporting on my credit report just making this so much more ridiculous.

I even sent in a letter from the IRS as proof of address…. Yup i’m so deep into this that i have developed a huge elaborate story involving taxes too…

    I tried Rental Kharma in August,. My landlord sent in 24 months of my rental history and began providing monthly updates in September, . In October, , Rental Kharma notified me that I was among the first to have my rental transactions reported to TranUnion. I was surprised with this information because I was led to believe that Rental Kharma had provided this service for other customers.

    In November, 2014, Rental Kharma did not update TransUnion with any transactions. Because Rental Kharma failed to update TransUnion with my 24 months of rental history, my FICO score took a hit.

    I tried working with these folks…. They couldn’t seem to find my landlord’s proof of ownership through the county tax assessor’s office, which has public records. They kept wanting me to do a 3 way call with my landlord, which she does not have time to do, and she was very suspicious of them.

    There are plenty of public records out there to prove ownership, all one has to do is basic research. And if Rental Kharma can’t perform a function that basic, I don’t want to do business with someone that inept. So I asked for a refund, which was like pulling teeth. It took me 3 weeks to get that. Never the hell again.

    No one answers the phone. Trying to cancel my account but can not get answers. Very frustrating.

  6. do not every us this company they are a fraud

    i spoke with a rep to see why no increase on my score has take place. they young lady said to give it 30days. after waiting the time they request no increase yet. so after speaking with the manager brain for a refund this bastered was so rude and disrespectful that i had to disconnect the call because he refused to allow me to speak to his supervisor. so unprofessional. they only refunded me 21.50 after paying 120.00 to this company for nothing.

    Worst company ever. A complete fraud. They will do whatever they can to not issue you a refund. They will threaten you with charges claiming they didn’t receive the documents you sent. Most of their 5 star reviews are bought. BEWARE! Very bad experience.
