Oro Gold Cosmetics

Total scam Oro Gold Cosmetics

Oro Gold is a total scam. They have changed their name numerous times due to legal battles. Their stores salespeople will invite you in and entice you with fake products and take you for a ride with your money. They’re are aggressive sales people and it’s easy to fall into the trap.

First they will apply a “skin peeling” agent to your hand or skin to prove to you the results, this is actually GLUE!!!!! Which looks as though your skin is dirty when it comes off and looks as though it’s peeling. Total scam.

Their products are also all fake. There are numerous complains and bad reviews relating to this product. Their stores look great and the people are very good at tricking you. However, the ingredients are all fake and actually very bad for your skin. I haven’t read one legitimate review. Especially for your face! It caused multiple breakouts and a rash – which is why I searched for it online and found all the bad scam-related information.

Do not use and do not get sucked into spending copious amounts of money.

After reading about all their scams, after purchasing the products and spending over $700 USD – they refused to give a refund and refused to talk with anyone regardless. When questioned about the scams, they hung up. I am not from the US, so have tried multiple times to email and call with no return explanation.

These people are crooks. Please be careful and please look at the reviews online. I don’t know how they are allowed to be open and haven’t been sued yet. The products are not good for your health. Every cream on the shelf in the store is different to the products you open when getting home. I purchased a 5 stage cream and mask – all the exact same substance inside the bottles.

This is a really bad company and if you read all the stories of people getting ripped off thousands of dollars – you will be mortified. Don’t be silly like me. Shop elsewhere with legitimate products. Not fakes.

Do NOT believe anything these guys tell you! They will manipulate you into spending thousands of dollars without telling you you can’t return any of it! You will be nothing but stuck & totally taken advantage of. They should be ashamed of their greedy disgusting selves!!!!
This is for their store in Cozumel where they manipulate all the people traveling through while on a cruise.

  2. This Orogold store at STC is completely Scammers!

I encounter the guy by the name TONY in this store. Pls avoid him as he is very persistent and pushy with their products and he put me in big debts with my husband now. He doesn’t care with all his clients. He IS SCAMMER!

Avoid this people! Anyways God sees what he does. Karma is karma

  3. Completely scammers!

Me and my husband had been frustrated and disappointed with TONY (salesman or manager). He is very pushy and very aggressive selling their products, but he put me into so much big debts.

He even charged me with a product that has not been delivered to me. SCAMMERS! PLEASE DONT BE FOOLED BY THESE PEOPLE. Beware to pass by at Orogold Cosmetics store at Scarborough Town Centre.

  4. So far so good

My son has had a rash for 12 years of his life that multiple pediatricians and dermatologists have not been able to effect, but the Orogold facial cleansing mouse made a noticeable difference in just a single use. He has used it for 3 days with a greater improvement each day. The rash is to his face, upper arms, and a little on his chest and it is the pediatrician says it was triggered by one of the vaccines that he received when he was 5, entered school, and was exposed to the disorder that the vaccine was supposed to prevent. This is the only thing that has effected it in a positive way and so far without making it worse. It is also costing my daughter’s acne. I never had acne so I have bought everything that the dermatologists recommended; they were all navigator benzoyl alcohol and didn’t work for her; this is cheating up her acne. I will say that I’m not impressed by the deep moisturizer; it feels nice and is absorbed rapidly, but it didn’t seem to do anything other than that and only for a few seconds. The eye serum is amazing. It visibly works in seconds and takes days before needing to reapply. Their products that work, only require a very minimal amount to apply and the facial cleaner and the eye cream of FANTASTIC!

  5. Went for a facial. Instead they started selling me their products. Was so overwhelmed with being pushed into buying that I got sucked into it. Phoned same day to return my products and was told I could bike exchange when I don’t want anything to do with then it their products. Will go back in store to try to return. Unfortunately the receipt says exchange only. Every time I made a comment, the elite mark would say oh your so cute. They were so smooth. I m so upset. I’ve lost thousands of dollars.

  6. Scam Alert

When you purchase their extremely expensive LED devices, they lie about you being a VIP member and being able to come for facials and free products. They gift you twice, and then they’re done with you. Surprising, considering the devices are around $6,000 each, so they’ve already made a hefty commission.

Very shady with the way they access your money as well. They present the purchase option as an “instalment plan”, when it’s really a high interest third party loan.

A whole bunch of lies, greed, and aggressive sales tactics!!!. I regret the day I set foot in their Scarborough location.

    1. Did you solve it?

Hello Karma, Were you able to solve it?

  7. Oragold is a complete scam

Is there a class action lawsuit and how do I get involved?

  8. Just got ripped off today by Orrogold

My email is fake but this is true review. I went for my facial appointment and told them i am in rush to go finish my errand right after. So they make strategy i guessed. While the beautician is doing facial on me the manager came and start right on with marketing and then applied a product on me. cavier product. when that’s done someone else came to start talking about upgrading my package. later on asking which bank card do i have. I was shocked with all this rush. then she voluntarily take my handbag so i could reach to my wallet and take my bank card so she could check if i could apply to some points from previous purchases. Not long after she came in with the Nets machine for making payment. I am so mad to myself for keying in the pin number while still on facial treatment. The manager acting so busy having to attend to another meeting while her staff finish of the payment arrangment with me. Just a horrible day.

  9. Unrelenting sales pitch

I was recenyly passing the Orogold store in a mall. The sales people stand outside the entrance and nab anyone suitable for their products ie. older retired women like me.They lure you in with a free sample and their charm just to show you something. The young man was attractive and very charming. He started off by applying eye lift serum and along with this product I could get others in a package deal costing $400. When I refused, he had instant less expensive tempting offers to keep me interested. They are prepared with a pat answer they are trained to say while they contine to charm and be kind to an older woman. Shame on me but I got sucked into the eye lift serum for $200! I am so mad at myself! I have used it for a week now and haven’t seen any difference but I will give it time. It worries me now that I have just read their product can damage my skin ??

This is the interesting part .He had asked how long I had been using another eye product and I said about 20 years. He was incredulous because he obviously didn’t think it was working! Lol

I will give this $200 Orogold Novado eye lift product some time to see any difference (even though the salesman swore he saw an instant change when he applied it) before I walk past the store.

When I do, an Orogold consultant will step out with a sample and ask me if I use other eye treatments and for how long. They’ll look shocked at the obvious poor result of my product, I will look forward to their shocked look when I tell them I’ve been using the Orogold Navado!! However I am sure they will have been trained to have a pat answer for that eventuality as well!

Next time I run into smooth talking sakes people especially if they appeal to a women’s vanity, I will listen to my gut and run!!

  10. Orogold products and staff selling the products saying thousands lies

When I am walking by Inside Scarborough town center, Toronto, Canada, the girls are selling the product as in the previous article they force applying the product on my hand and rub saw me how dirt is coming out and says don’t by come inside and see what we have. I have to tell you that salespersons are trained very well, and they know how to trick you.

Within a few minutes, they have showed me magic, and I ended up spending $.3750.00 worth of products. They said you have a lifetime warranty to refill the product and small device and every month facial.

After that, I went twice for a facial and asked for a refill. Then the Charlette at the Scarborough center location told me to know more refill. I only had two refills, and before I bought the product, she told me everything is a lifetime…

This is not the right thing to do. The people see a significant amount of money, which is not fair to do such a lousy business…Even if you go for a facial never on time.
Someone or the media has to take legal action against these people. This is really a scam. They even don’t want to return our money.
If anyone knows what to do ??

  11. Rip Off

I purchased eye serum in Cozumel. Opened package when I got home to find tube empty. E mails go unanswered unable to speak with anyone.
