On the Map Marketing

On the Map Marketing knows nothing about SEO

I am a businessman and have been working for a long time. I have worked with many service providers. The last one to whom I outsourced my digital marketing campaign was great and I was willing to work with that same company. Before I could have contacted them, I got a call from On the Map Marketing. The sales person was willing to help me with SEO of my website.

I did inform him that I already had a service provider. But, he insisted to try his company. For which, he was offering discounts. I said I will think about it. He kept calling. He also connected me with his boss, Paul Mackiewicz. He talked me into it. After a long discussion, we finalized the work.

I paid them the first milestone to start the work. As per the timeline, I never found them providing me with any reports. I was traveling the entire month for the business purpose and did not have time to contact them for every silly detail. I thought that they must be working on it. I never had this trouble with the other company I worked before.

After one and a half month, after returning back, I scheduled a meeting with Paul. He said that he would be busy for the week. And, asked me to visit him the next week. I tried to ask about the progress and he simply said that we need to work more.

During the meeting, he asked me to talk to his SEO expert about the progress. That is when I knew that he had outsourced the project overseas. That guy was not even able to understand me. I felt frustrated.

I could only make out from what he was trying to say was the work was tricky and it would require around a year to bring the ranking up. I remember, when my page was not showing in the first 10 pages result, the last company took three months to bring it to the second page. Since then, I have only worked on the blogs and the page was always on the first page of search result.

I needed a few more keywords to connect to my website and these guys pushed my page to three pages down. And, this guy from nowhere told me that my website would require time.

I am not an expert. But, if I had to outsource my project for saving money, I would have done it directly. It would have been much cheaper. This is insane. I am never going to work with Paul or his company.

He did not have the etiquette to ask for an apology. When I asked for a refund, he bluntly said that the fee was non-refundable. I know I made the biggest mistake of my life. However, I am not going to sulk over it. I would alert as many as I can.

Do not work with this shitty company. These guys are morons.

  1. Do not use- waste of money

Do not use. Dumped THOUSANDS on them to receive no ROI. By far worst marketing company I’ve used.

  2. No results and little communication

I see now that others have had the same experience as I have. I paid thousands to this company and have had no paid clients in return.

I was promised aggressive marketing, but the results were nonexistent. I received plenty of attention at the beginning, prior to the sale and shortly after the sale, but once I could see that there were no results, they stopped doing anything for me.

I have asked them for help and it keeps being promised, but they are too busy getting others to commit to paying them money to spend time actually working for their customers.

A very bad experience. Avoid them.
