Oliver Family Healthcare

I Was Disappointed

My daughter, a new student to the state, visited Oliver Family Healthcare to check for a sore throat and sinus pain.

She also had a fever and chest congestion. But she was not seen by any doctor.

She had insurance, but she didn’t have $20 at the time, so she was sent out to walk out the door.

I was disappointed as I had chosen Oliver Family Healthcare to be her healthcare provider.

I feel that this place will be held responsible if my daughter is hurt.

They failed to provide care and concern for her when she was extremely ill and refused to bill her 20.00.

Oliver Family Healthcare is shameful for neglecting my daughter’s medical needs and mistreating her!

I only wish I’d read the reviews…

  1. Never Again

My daughter, a new student to the state, came here to be checked for a sore neck, sinus pain, fever, and cough. She was in pain and weak.
She had insurance, but she didn’t have $20. So she was sent out the door. It was me who chose this place for her.

I feel that this place will be held responsible if my daughter is hurt. They failed to help her when she was very sick, and instead of charging her 20.00 for care and concern, they refused to provide her service…seems unprofessional to me.

I wish I’d read the reviews. Oliver Family Healthcare should be ashamed of how they treated my daughter and neglected her medical needs! I would guess that 20 dollars would be a loss for their business.

  2. They have treated my daughters since they were in their early teens and now as young adults.

After jumping on this site to make sure I had the correct hours on a Saturday (open 9-3) I was very upset that the only two reviews were negative. Oliver Family Healthcare has been our provider for over 10 years and we’ve always had great care and treatment there. I’ve seen 4 of the providers personally over the years and they have all been great. They have treated my daughters since they were in their early teens and now as young adults.

I can think of at least 4 significant issues in the last 5 years that I have seen them for and in each case, they listened to what I was telling them and even offered some non-medication solutions for my symptoms. When that didn’t work for my blood pressure, after a couple of years of focusing on diet and exercise, we discussed medication as an option and went through 2-3 consultations both on the phone and in person to get it right.

I currently see Whitney Kirsch – PA and highly recommend her but have had great experiences with all of the physicians there. It is fast paced there, so I understand if someone feels like they aren’t being catered to from behind the receptionist’s desk – but I like that they are timely and efficient.

  3. Other than that my experiences there have been great!

I have had a pretty good experience with this office. Not the best, but good. I see Whitney, a PA, and she is wonderful. I have seen another PA there, Amber, and she was nothing but abrupt and rude.

They nearly always run late unless you get one of the first appointments in the morning or right after lunch, so be prepared to wait. Other than that my experiences there have been great!

  4. Will never be seen by her again!!

Ms. A. Miller PA-C: She was rude, impatient, condescending, and dismissive. She seemed to find patient questions annoying and to get irritated. I found her to be elitist.
I felt that she was unsupportive and that you were a nuisance. I have a poor bedside manner, and my opinion is that of a person who has never been to her. I will never see her again. !
