Notus Human Capital

Notus scammed me for $8000

I was working with a reputed company and was happy with the salary and other perks. I had my resume on various job sites, but they were posted long back before joining my current company. I believe that Notus Human Capital got my personal details from those sources which I am not sure about.

I got a call from an unknown number while I was still in my office. It was a week day, so I was supposed to be working. That guy told me that he was from Notus and can help me to get a job with six figures. I wasn’t interested at that moment as I was busy with my work. But, he was persistent and was repeating the same thing over and over.

I asked him to give me a call back in the evening as he was adamant at not giving up. I also thought of checking the information before denying of the services. He did not call in the evening. I believed that I was successful in ignoring him. The next day was a Saturday. My mornings start a bit late on weekends.

That guy called me at 8 AM and started saying the same things. I asked him to mail me the details. Although I got agitated but tried to stay calm. He said that he would. I received his mail right away. The mail wrote that I will have to make an upfront payment of $8000 to start the process. The guy would refer me to Fortune 500 companies and guaranteed a six-figure salary.

The mail was no doubt impressive. But, the charges were too much for me to pay, especially when I was happy with my current figure. So, I turned the opportunity down. But, that guy kept me calling nonstop. Later, I decided to pay him some amount close to $4000 and said that I would be paying the rest after the deal is accomplished.

It took some time to get that message heard. He talked to Steve and he agreed. So, I made the payment. I still feel foolish for doing so. After that day, I never received any call from that guy. Neither he mailed me any opportunity that he was talking about. It was me who started chasing him like he was the busiest person in the world.

I tried to contact Steve and he told me that he would look into the matter. After two months, when I did not receive any lead, I asked for a refund. No one was ready to listen to me. I kept calling but nothing was done.

I even tried to send them numerous mails asking for the answer. Some were replied. They did send some leads after I asked for the refund. But those leads were not even close to the career that I already had with my company. So, I refused to go for the interview.

Steve got irritated at few instances, but it was my career and I had the right to choose what suited me most. This company is a shame. Never deal with Notus Human Capitals if you want to save your money.

    Fantastic Reviews

Since it has been verified that the post on this site is false and from someone who has never had any interaction with us, we wanted to provide links to just a few places where actual clients have posted verifiable reviews.

These are in addition to our A+ rating with the BBB.

For those who haven’t had the opportunity of making our acquaintance but may at some point want to know more about our services it would be good to consider the following points regarding the false post on this site.

    1. All our clients come by way of a direct referral from a past client, professional connection, or personally seek us out (internet/website). We never cold call or email anyone – Ever.
    2. This unnamed individual continues referring to someone at our company as “that guy”. How many people have numerous communications with someone, eventually pay them $4000 and don’t know the name of who “that guy” is?
    3. This person talks about his communication with “Steve”, besides the accuracy of the name, nothing else bears a resemblance.
    4. Notus has been in business for 20+ years and maintains an A+ rating with the BBB and rates as the “most recommended” career management firm in the world on LinkedIn. If anyone had an experience that remotely resembled what is described, wouldn’t they have contacted their credit card company to issue a refund or at least the BBB to resolve the matter – instead of posting anonymously to a random site?
    5. Notus always has and always will take care of our clients and if there is ever a time where we fall short of our high service standards – we make it right. Period.
    6. In short, I welcome engagement from potential, current and on-going clients and can always be contacted directly at [email protected]
