New Dimensions

New Dimensions is Scammer and Bad service

I have been in my NDI built home for about 8 years now and my basement has flooded twice. I called New Dimensions when the basement got flooded the first time and they basically told me to go pound sand. I lost everything in the basement including furniture and electronics, had to cut out 3 feet of the drywall in the whole basement and also replace the insulation .

Since NDI wasn’t willing to help me, I called the plumber that was used when they built the house. The plumber said that I needed to replace the sump pump with one that has a backup battery . I had the same plumber come in and replace the pump as recommended, but my basement flooded again.

Since then I have installed two bigger pumps with the hopes that my basement will not get flooded again. I am not sure what process NDI goes through to build a house. I know its not a good process and its is missing alot.

With my house, there has to be a design flaw in the building somewhere. My old house on the same lot never had any flooding issues. Basically I go screwed big time. NDI is very friendly and professional in the beginning and up until they get all the payments from the bank. After that , they are not easy to deal with.

I had to spend over $20K each time on repairs the damages and I still get nervous every time it rains. They also screwed me over with the bathroom in the basement. They didn’t tell me that it needed an ejector pump until towards the end of the construction process and it was too late. I continue to have issues with that pump all the time.

Upstairs bathtub was installed without a shower. Had to redo that which cost me more money they talk about quality and customer service, but in reality I am not sure if t
hey know what that means

  1. We'd build with NDI again.

My husband and I’ve been following NDI for over 5 years before we finally were able to build our home. While building a home can be a challenging and stressful experience, we are more than happy with our NDI home. We so appreciate the time and care the NDI staff put into our home.

We felt they truly cared about our home and helped guide in making selections. We especially appreciate the care President Jennifer Landers put into our house plans, offering a few suggestions that truly made our house even better than we’d hope. Super pleased with the final product. We’d build with NDI again.

  2. then how could this slip past your company not once, but twice

Jennifer, the so be it. NDI was responsible for the first install of the counter top, that install failed the review of ProHome (the 3rd party independent reviewer hired by NDI to inspect the home) who told NDI to do it again.

The second install of the counter top was also supervised by NDI, see attached photos for the results. I called NDI about the second install and no one from NDI ever contacted me. You have my work number and my email.

As I said on the phone, have ProHome contact me to set a time to come out and review the counter top and other damages. Anyone from your company can come with the ProHome rep, except for you.

This counter top represents NDI. If as you say “…Quality is very important to us and is our main focus on every home…” then how could this slip past your company not once, but twice?
