Doesn't Work

I’m selling a house to a NACA buyer and would recommend that you receive an offer on your home from a NACA buyer and real estate agent assigned to them – say no! It’s been a nightmare!

The buyer’s agent does not return phone calls or emails.

The NACA loan officer ordered an appraisal from a company that doesn’t work in Milwaukee, and then the order sat for 2 weeks.

We’re supposed to close in five days, and they’re too busy drumming up more business at the NACA Save the Dream event at the Midwest Express Center, so no one is in the office to take calls! I have no idea if we’ll even close on time.

The deal on the home I’m trying to buy may fall through because these people are not on top of their dates and don’t seem to know what they’re doing.

It’s too bad, it could be a good program, but NACA has made my life hell for the last month.

  1. They lost all my stuff and so i had to start all over again.

I have been doing all of the paperwork they require and turning it all into the man who is helping me. One time I went in, and they told me they were missing some paperwork from me….it was in their trash can -_-

I had one more appointment left to be finished with everything…..Guess what? They lost all my stuff, and so I had to start all over again.

  2. I also encourage everyone to report them.

Please, I beg you, do not use them. Avoid the headache. They lure you in with great low rates, and no down payment, no PMI, and all this other stuff, but they make you go through hell and back to get it. Avoid the headache.

It’s just not worth it. Sure, a few people are successful, but if you have 1 success out of 1000s, how “successful” is it really? My experience was horrible. If I could, I would’ve avoided this like the plague. I also encourage everyone to report them.

  3. Scammer

As a Soldier, medical professional, and veteran, I make it a habit of writing down pertinent details of important events, times, and dates from years of pre-mission briefs on deployment and during routine hospital rounds. I didn’t make a mistake.

That’s why I took leave on 24 Jul to make my appointment. Wasted 1.5 hours in Boston traffic and 8 hours of hard-earned leave for nothing.

  4. I was told I made a mistake and they couldn't fit me in.

I relocated from the Midwest to attend graduate school in Cambridge and decided to stay and finish my military career in MA. After googling home purchase options in the Boston area, I chanced upon NACA and attended one of their info sessions. NACA claimed to offer better terms than what the VA could, so I bit.

After learning about the Boston area for about a year or so, my wife and I decided to proceed with NACA with plans to buy down points to make our mortgage as affordable as possible.
