Mortgage Trust, Inc.

The Lack Of Communication

Katie Kuntz needs a new career. She took more than a week to respond after submitting my application & kept “sending” emails to me when in fact she was saving them to her drafts folder.

Then she ran our credit twice. Thanks for that Katie, that will surely improve my credit score.

On top of that she asked for the same paperwork multiple times.

After her totally dropping the ball & sending out butt hurt whiny emails when she got called out on her lack of communication she finally gave up & passed us off to another person in the office.

Then she couldn’t even send the paperwork we’d already submitted to her coworker.

He was professional & completed the process, but the damage had already been done.

After all this, they could only approve us for $30,000 less than another lender had prior using the same programs.

Not impressed in the slightest. If your thinking of using them, I wouldn’t recommend Katie.

  1. I will be using Katie for my next home purchase and recommend her to anyone I know looking for a mortgage.

Was suggested to check out Mortgage Trust by our real estate agent selling our Portland house, Ilana Frey with Hasson. Katie at Mortgage Trust promptly replied and began assisting us with a home purchase in Vancouver. I did some shopping around and pursued two other mortgage companies, but I found Mortgage Trust to provide the best customer service so I went with them.

My experience with Katie was great! She provided consistent updates and was on top of all the details. The Washington real estate agent we used was so impressed with Katie that he has begun referring clients to her as well, telling us she is definitely top tier. Recently I had an issue pop up with my home owners insurance, Katie was there again to advocate for me and immediately provide paperwork and needed information.

  2. Never Again

This was by far the worst real estate experience I’ve ever had. It was a constant blame game on everyone else regarding the delays and lack of communication.

I wouldn’t recommend any of my friedns and family to them. I was warned about going there due to some bad press last year, but I ignored it. Now I’m kicking myself for supporting them. Live and learn.
