I had the worst customer service experience at Metro PCS. On October 23, I stopped by Metro PCS store on “3230 S. White Rd., San Jose CA 95148” to check out Metro’s phones, plans, etc.
It was a few minutes before closing and the owner rushed me out by saying he has to go somewhere.
I tried to ask as many questions as I can before leaving since I was in a hurry looking for a new carrier.
He wasn’t happy about me not leaving right away and asked me to come back another time for more questions.
I called the very next day with more questions and he was unpleasant as soon as he recognized me.
After a few minutes, the line disconnected and I thought it was drop call so I called back a few times but he never answer.
I stopped by the store again the next day. It was about 10 minutes before closing.
This time, he didn’t even bother to come to the front counter to help me but kept on sitting & facing the other way and only answer yes or no to my questions.
I was very unhappy with his service but tried to stay calm as I desperately wanted to learn more about Metro PCS deals.
Couple minutes went by, he told me I have 8 minutes; 3 minutes later, he said I have 5 minutes; then he called & talked to someone on the phone in vietnamese.
After talking on the phone, he said I only have 2 minutes left. I asked if he has any recommendation on any phone and he said no.
At this point, I couldn’t stay calm anymore. I told him that it’s rude of him to just sit there facing the other way and only answer yes or no to my questions and not come to the front counter to help me; and that it’s not appropriate of him to ignore customer with making personal phone call.
I said I won’t come back to his store anymore and he told me to go to another Metro store.
I asked if he knows another Metro store nearby and he said no.
Looking back, I believe he purposely hung up on me the day before not because the line get disconnected.
