The salespeople at this location do not know their products and the managers in the company are unreachable and unwilling to correct mistakes. Buyer beware! I purchased a bed and base from the U St store and waited 2 weeks for delivery. I have drawers under my bed and I was assured by the salesman that I was purchasing a base that had legs and was raised enough to fit the drawers. When the delivery team arrived, they told me the base needed to be on the floor. After talking with the warehouse and the store, I agreed to remove the drawers and accept the bed, however, the delivery team would not wait for me to remove the drawers and unscrew the rails. I called the store and the salesman told me to call customer service. I called customer service and they told me to call the store. The only thing customer service could do was send an email to a manager and I would be contacted in 24-48 hours; they provided no actual customer service. I requested to talk to a manager and was refused. The delivery team kept asking me if I was refusing delivery, however, they would not wait for me to remove the bed rails so I could accept the delivery. I was stuck with options, the bed base didn’t fit and the deliver team wouldn’t wait for me to make it fit. The warehouse and the store were on the phone almost the entire time and no one would transfer me to a manager or anyone who could help or rectify the mistake. I was sold a product that did not fit even though I asked more than once if the base had space under the bed. I was shown a bed base model that did have space. I even asked if I should purchase a new bed and was told that was unnecessary. No one had any power to correct the mistake at the time of delivery. I wasted an entire day of leave from work and took my bed apart. The salesperson didn’t know or understand the product he sold me and no one I talked to was able to help. After all this trouble, I still do not have a new bed. I will definitely buy one, however, it will NOT be from this company!
