Stay Away!
The agent Heather Herrington at Kirkham & Friends Real Estate is completely incompetent and has no business being a real estate agent.
The Principle Broker is no help either and almost as bad. She is the listing agent for the house I just bought.
I closed early on a Thursday so I could have the weekend to move.
She had the sellers wait to sign their closing docs until after I signed, and because they live in Hawaii they won’t be in time to record today (Friday) for me to get the keys and take possession, so I now have to wait until Monday.
My loan is funded as of today on Friday, so I am paying for the mortgage, all the utilities are already in my name, and her solution was for me to ‘rent’ the place I’m paying the mortgage on from the sellers, until it records.
Mind you the loan is funded and they have my money as of today and I am the one paying the mortgage, taxes and utilities as of today, and they want me to pay them rent on a place I own because of their incompetence.
I took a 4 day weekend off work to be able to move, I can’t change my work schedule to be able to move Tuesday, my lease is up.
I was told too late that the mortgage won’t record in time and I can’t get the keys to not be responsible for paying the movers, so I have to pay movers, to not move me, get in trouble for having to change my work schedule because I can’t move on my days off.
The sellers wanted to close early – the earlier I close the less they have to pay – I closed early and now because they’re incompetent I can’t move in time even though I set everything up around their schedule!!
I will never buy or seller any piece of real estate associated with this brokerage.
Any buyer using this brokerage will have any offer automatically rejected because their level of incompetence is not worth the headache of dealing with them!
Do yourself a favor and stay away!
