This process began over two months ago. We were informed that we had pre-approved and started looking for homes.

We found a home we liked and made an offer. The closing date was so far away that Isaac asked me why.

He said we could change it as they close deals in less than 30 days.

Because there was still a family living at the house, I decided not to move the closing date.

This was when Isaac’s communication with him was cut off, and things were handled through his assistants.

One week before closing, which was approximately 45 days after the date when the offer was accepted.

Isaac called me to inform me that he didn’t know that there were changes to the guidelines and that we weren’t eligible.

However, if we could make a significant down payment, we might be eligible for another type of loan.

Although I was still trusting him, he told us that he did not know of any other guidelines in our county and that we could get the loan without a down payment.

He should have done his homework before making promises he could not keep as a mortgage broker.

As they thought the loan was done, the sellers have already relocated.

Now, I must tell my children that they are free to unpack their boxes and that we won’t be moving.

Due to the man’s empty promises and false promises, I still have to pay an inspection on the home I was planning to buy.

He has done a lot of harm to my family and the seller’s family.

I spoke to another mortgage broker who said she had dealt with similar situations from at least four other families in our region.

I don’t know how anyone can continue doing this to their families.
