iRestore Laser Hair Growth System

Do not throw your money on iRestore

I ordered one for my husband. He was having a hard time dealing with the baldness and the affected area was growing gradually. After trying healthy diet plan, biotins and vitamins and many other treatments, I thought of giving iRestore laser hair growth a chance. I had read about the wonderful reviews and as laser treatments are highly effective, I trusted this thing to work.

So, I ordered this for my husband and it reached us on time. When we first tried to turn it on, it did not power up. I did all the troubleshooting that was written on the device and nothing worked at all. We consulted the company and were given another device. Thankfully, we were able to make it work this time.

Then the treatment started. We have to travel a lot because of our job. But, instead of that, my husband carried it with him to every damn place he visited. He never missed even a single day using this device. After a week, he started feeling a sense of itching, but we ignored it thinking a good sign. We believed that it was all because of blood circulation. He continued using it. Then the severe headache started. It was just after a couple of weeks of use.

He still continued using it as we were not sure about the cause. A headache started growing. Instead of bothering him at times, it started staying all the time. This was when we started doubting iRestore laser hair growth device. We consulted the doctor and he suggested that we stop using the device for few days and see if there was any change in the pain.

As suggested, we did it. He did not use that device with beautiful lights for few days and it did help him. The pain started going down. The itching also stopped. After two months of use, we were highly disappointed by the device. It was not just the baldness which did not get any better, but the health risk that was not highlighted when we purchased this product.

I went to check the detailed review and found that many people had stated about the inefficiency of the product to help them in re-growing the hair. Some also had reported that the product increased their problem even more. In short, their hair fall surged after using this product.

We were very unhappy to see the reviews. We were very optimistic about the product but when it did not do anything better, instead made it even worse, we decided to throw it out of the house. It still stays in the garage where no one uses it.

iRestore should not use false advertising to promote its product. And, if there is any health risk connected to the device, they should list that on the product. Otherwise, they should be risking the lives of their customers. I would suggest not to buy this product at all. This company is no different from the other fake companies providing useless products at a high price tag. Save your money and save yourself.

    Question to last reviewer

Why didnt you return it back for a full refund? They offer a 6month return. And if it’s your garage, would you be interested in selling it? Maybe it just doesnt work for everyone.

My husband ordered irestore 8 months ago and hasnt seen any improvement in hair growth. When we tried to return it they said we had to return within 7 months of purchase date, how can they expect someone tl see results within that time frame, they are ridiculous, you are better off without it

    No Difference. Waste of money.

Used for the 6 months without any noticeable difference. Had to jump through hoops to even get them to consider my refund.

Why not FDA approved as an effective treatment?

First, ask yourself – why is the iRestore helmet FDA cleared and not FDA approved? A common sense scenario is the company will not pay the significant amount of money for the trials and research for a product that does not work.

I began using iRestore January 2, 2019 and continued through June 19, 2019. I used it every-other-day for 25 minutes each session. I even used it on vacation. After I noticed my hair was in worse condition than before I began, I called customer service to request a refund. I was told the helmet may take longer to work for some people. The customer service representative asked me to continue using the iRestore helmet for an additional 3 months then follow up. I was willing to try anything, so I followed the instructions and continued using it every-other-day through September 30, 2019.

I went to the dermatologist on October 1, 2019 and she asked me to stop using the product as she can tell (from my progression pictures) that my scalp was now dry and hair severely brittle. On October 2, 2019, I contacted customer service to request the refund. However, I was told I was past the 6 month mark and cannot obtain a refund. They stated if I provided proof of the customer service rep telling to use an additional 3 months, they would issue a refund. Consequently, I don’t use a phone recorder and am now out $600 for a scam product. I can now understand how and why people fall for anything to keep their hair – I am one of those people.

I see so many reviews online – the majority is either 1 star or 5 stars with very few in-between ratings. I have been a member of numerous hair loss discussion boards and everyone I’ve had discussions with says it is a scam. It seems iRestore employees and affiliates are loading Amazon with these 5 star reviews.

Long story short: it would be a miracle if it actually works for you, and if it doesn’t, good luck receiving a refund.

I ordered an iRestore “helmet” for hubby who’s losing hair… I bought it only because they were offering a 100% money back guarantee – as I was led to believe I had NOTHING to lose. I was skeptical. He was skeptical. I ordered and paid over $520 and it arrived. I registered it. They told me that the system had to be used for a minimum of 6 months before the return and money guarantee could be employed. We were initially traveling for one month and some. So, he couldn’t use it. Then when we returned. he used it religiously for about 6.5 months. Then I reached out letting them know that Im returning it as there were NO RESULTS. They told me I couldn’t be refunded – as the return window had already closed. They have some ridiculous “policy” to justify that – of course that is NOT specifically communicated at the start. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE STOPPED AND SHUT DOWN. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!

iRestore also DELETES any unfavorable public comments on FB and Bans

They don’t play fair. Their “Public FB Page” is not at all Public if anyone says anything unfavorable. They are scam artists through and through! Don’t waste a moment of your time nor a penny of your funds. Liars. Scammers. Cons.

I tried to return the helmet after 5 1/2 months, but Jake said he would give me 12 months to try it and then decide if it is helping or not. On 12/12/2019, I asked to return it but he refused, saying that he had specifically said I had to return it by 12/10/2019. To that I replied: ”

“It is very confusing that you imposed different return criteria for 6 months and 12 months. The delivery receipt I received (see attached) states at the bottom of page 3 that “If you don’t see results with the iRestore after 12 months, we’ll give you a full refund (less s&h)”. So, 12 months from the delivery date is Nov 16, 2019 and I requested the return on Nov 12, 2019.

    Here was his last reply:

“That will always show on your receipt as it is linked to our current return policy which took effect and is only applicable for devices that were purchased on and after June 24, 2019. Also, in order to be specific and avoid confusion, I specifically indicated on my email confirmation of the extension when you need to return your device for a full refund. The stipulation on our 12-month money-back guarantee does not apply to your device as your device was not purchased on or after June 24, 2019”.

DOES ANYONE UNDERSTAND THIS? It is purposely intended to confuse and trick you into missing his arbitrary return date. DON’T BUY THIS GADGET THEY ARE UNETHICAL!!

i agree, i restore is TOTALLY full of beans

I bought the i restore and used it for several months, and then it stopped working. i complained to irestore, and when they FINALLY answered they implied it was MY fault and they NEVER got back to me. i bought it with my american express card and filed a complaint with them. i restore just kept finding reasons to NOT refund my money for several months. if they would just mail me an RMA i would return the damm thing right away.

  15. Andrea Parishani

I ordered this for my fiance in Turkey. After 6 months of daily use, there was no improvement and then it suddenly stopped working. I contacted irestore customer service and was told to wait until the device was in the US. However, when I did that and contacted them again, they just suggested that I purchase another device at reduced cost and refused to offer any other solution. This is a huge scam! It doesn't work and you shouldn't waste your money on false hope.

Scam. Doesn’t work. Don’t waste your money.

  16. Customer

Their customer service is a scam

The do not honor their refund policy and it takes a least a day to get the customer service to answer one question and then if you asked another later, it will take another day… basically this is a really inefficient company who does not honor their promise. Their management team does not seem to care either.

  17. Joe

I bought it through Amazon and was able to get a refund, luckily.

It gave me a headache within a couple of minutes of using it. I think the causes were those rubber prongs pushing against my temples (which is the only way to wear it), and maybe even the lights themselves.

  18. Kim

No risk effort to restore hair

I bought the irestore laser pro from the website and used it faithfully for an entire year as required to qualify for the refund. While, unfortunately, the product did not work for me, the customer service was great. I requested a refund and I was given a return label the same day. I had kept all the original packaging and returned the helmet. Within a week I had my refund to my credit card. I was told by customer service that the product works for many people, but not everyone. It would have been well worth the money if it had worked for me, but it was risk free and my experience was positive.
