Integrity Bank Ssb
Bad Customer ServicePLEASE DO NOT BANK HERE! I opened my accounts here about a year and a half ago, because my previous bank had begun charging a fee for my checking account, and Integrity Bank Ssb still offered free checking with no stipulations (which turned out to be about the only positive to having accounts there, and I’m not sure is still the case).
Customer service has been bad the entire time I’ve banked there.
When you pull up to the teller window, or go up to the counter inside, the tellers do not greet you with a smile and a friendly “hello” or similar.
I’ve driven up to the window, and literally seen two tellers that were not helping customers look at each other like they were telepathically debating who was going to help me, then one eventually grudgingly comes to the window and acknowledges me.
I’ve been standing in line inside while a teller at the empty drive through window refuses to come over and help me, then a driver pulled up to the window and she also didn’t help him, just went on with what she was doing and let us both just wait several minutes until other people were available to help us.
The worst part of my experience with them was even more serious than bad customer service.
In November I noticed a charge on my debit card that I thought was strange, so I brought it to the attention of a banker.
He called about two weeks later (Sidenote: good luck getting someone on the phone, you can almost never speak to someone, and don’t bother leaving a message because they are not going to call you back, you just have to keep calling and calling until you catch someone) and said that it was fraud and I would receive a credit in about six weeks.
Six weeks seemed a bit ridiculous to me, but I said okay and left it at that.
A week later, I received a letter basically saying that because it was a business checking account that they did not have to give me a credit, and the matter was closed.
I went up and spoke to a banker, then to the manager, and they told me that the best they could do was try and contact the person who had charged the $1300 to my debit card and ask them to return it.
A couple weeks later they said that they hadn’t been able to contact the person, and then I got the same letter again saying that it was a business account so they weren’t giving me a credit and the matter was closed.
The customer service is terrible, and they do not provide fraud protection to business accounts. Good luck.
