Did Not Communicate

While they were able to get me a lower loan rate, I ended up with a loan more than what I was refinancing in iLendingDIRECT.

The person helping me (Travis) did not communicate two very important things to me during the process.

First, I had no idea there is a $500 charge for refinancing. I am not happy with the amount, but I get it.

Second, they applied a paint/fabric protection as part of my loan. I do not need the service, but when he told me it was included, I figured, why not.

It was included as a hidden $500 extra cost. The entire signing process was very rushed with no effort to explain the agreement in detail.

It was also locked, so I could not review it before reaching out with questions. Everything was done quickly on the spot.

After calling to remove the added protection from my agreement, they told me it was not possible.

I would have rather put that extra $500 toward my loan. They then had the audacity to call and offer me a gift card as a way to make up for the experience.

I am so disappointed… I well up when I realize I was just “had” for my hard earned dollars.

Having faith in people and companies gets harder and harder with every experience.

  1. GAP Terminated &Customer Service

I have spent the last two months attempting to retrieve monies from the GAP coverage. They requested several documents which I gathered and turned in. I ask them if all the information I have sufficed; they replied yes. They went on to say that I would get a check for the balance of the insurance-I had a total loss that my insurance covered. I was told the check would be mailed to me in 4-6 weeks We are 4-6 weeks out I haven’t te I anything. I contact them and they say they are missing ROI- I go through our email correspondence and locate it and resubmit- then I told they found it in another file. They went on to say they would send the check to the credit union instead of sending it to me. The account at the credit union has been closed since the loan is paid off. Now, I the customer has to again be inconvenienced due to their lack of professional support and poor training of new hires is no excuse. This has been a terrible experience.

  2. I had credit run and was about to sign but then ...

I was going to sign and approve but then had issues with the annual rate on the cover page not matching the rate on the loan document.

They explained that it was a late charge rate and not to worry, but they tried to rush me to sign and then provided all these other documents to submit for vehicle ownership transfer. Something didn’t add up.

I declined the offer and hoped this company would be terminated forever. I consider this type of act criminal and terrorism, and it should be taken to the highest power and never allowed to happen to another person.

  3. I got pretty close to refinancing with this company but technical difficulties on my end halted the process. As I was getting things in order to call back and continue it struck me that they agent on the phone was using many of the horrible tactics I was taught as a salesman years ago (it was a horrible job I regret and they do things like Rush the customer and get aggressive when someone is indecisive etc) I did a little research and found waaaay too many 5 Star reviews swearing up and down that iLending Direct was God’s gift to this lowly earth… and then dug a little deeper to find loads of real people giving it one star complaining there were hidden fees and they’re all losing money. The agents don’t disclose any information, they’re happy to rip you off. If you want to refinance, just go to the bank. Oh! And the price they were quoting me for refinancing doesn’t even save money, it just less money stretched over longer time and equals the same at the end of the day. AVOID!

  4. DEFINITE SCAM

FILLED OUT FORM ON LINE FOUR WEEKS AGO NO CALL, WHEN THEY SAID SOMEONE WILL CONTACT YOU. CALLED THEM SPOKE TO GUY NAMED HUNTINGTON GAVE MY INFO STATED HE WOULD CALL BACK NEXT DAY DIDNT CALL BACK TWO DAYS LATER I CALLED HIM LEFT MESSAGE NO CALL CALLED AGAIN FOLLOWING DAY LEFT MESSAGE AGAIN TO THIS DAY NO RETURN CALL.

  5. So, all of you please re-think before giving your details and better to approach trusted banks.

First, iLending direct approached me by mail and stating that your interest rate is higher, and they will give the lower interest rate. I called them and given my details then they requested my social security and confirmed that I have enough credit history more than 720.

After ten days I checked with them they said it’s not been approved and telling silly excuses. I doubt about them; their intention is to collect only customer details and they don’t have enough branches other than phone conversations. So, all of you please re-think before giving your details and better to approach trusted banks.
