I Drive Smart

I Drive Smart Is Scam

I had to request a refund for a class I could not take. The individual in charge of accounts would not return my call or acknowledge that I left him a voice message.

The nonrefundable fee was explained as used to pay merchandisers. I do not understand why this requires a deposit. The individual did not care about my problem, and stated that policy was policy.

I therefore would suggest seeking another service which is not so expensive nor geared to profit.

I did not know you had to pay for behind the wheel part separatly

I did not know you had to pay for behind the wheel part separatly. It costs more then $600 plus books. Much more then all the other schools we looked at.

I would not recommend this company due to my experience.

A very poor experience! Having passed the driving test, the instructor said the paperwork to drive legally would arrive in 2-4 days. It didn’t. The office manager said the delay may be because the person handling our State’s paperwork was on vacation.

The owner said paperwork must be reviewed first so the instructor’s timelines were incorrect. However, others receive their paperwork to allow them to drive immediately.

Faced with this information, the owner was very rude. when requesting a name of someone to get the paperwork from the main office, the owner would not provide a name of someone to talk with and said to wait. others have since taken the same test, passed and received the paperwork to drive legally immediately.

It appears the owner isn’t aware of his own processes and gets upset when faced with inconsistencies. There are many professionally owned company’s run by professionals. I would not recommend this company due to my experience.

I thoroughly endorse this company for it's professionalism and convenience.

We used i Drive Smart for our twin daughters. This service cost about twice as much as other driving schools and it was worth every penny. The courses are set up so that if a student misses a class, they can make it up at another time or location that is convenient to them, no problem.

The road instructors are all police officers and very professional. Their website is useful and easy to navigate. Their cars are small, but appear to be new. My daughters have been driving for a year now and have been (knock on wood) accident free. I thoroughly endorse this company for it’s professionalism and convenience.

    it's not worth it.

These folks really like to sell you a package, and then keep your money if you don’t do all of it within two years. Don’t make the mistake I made and fall for buying one of their packages — it’s not worth it.

I recommend them to anyone with an up and coming driver.

Sending twins out to drive, each with their own style of learning and driving was stressful. I Drive Smart made each step easy. Their staff members were always friendly and I got answers to my questions every time. The behind the wheel instructors were also great and provided good feedback on each of my new drivers.

Managing the maze of DMV forms and requirements was easy with I Drive Smart. Nothing takes the place of experience for the making of a good driver, but without a strong foundation, that experience means nothing… I Drive Smart provided that foundation for my sons. I recommend them to anyone with an up and coming driver.

I believe that I Drive Smart is as good as it gets.

I believe that I Drive Smart is as good as it gets. Our daughter went through it and it was incredible. She became a very confident, proficient driver because of the officers that run this course. My husband is an officer as well and we believe in their approach to teaching young drivers.

Our son will soon be taking their courses. I went to a presentation they gave at the high school and I really believe in their two year approach to driving and the coaching behind it. No, it doesn’t take two years to license, they just help support the parents in developing the transfer of responsibility over a solid period of time.
