HRD Custom Home Furnishings

Took money but did not deliver the product

The owner of this scam business is Joshua Vaccaro. He has an advertisement for custom built furniture in Facebook Marketplace (it is still there, reported it in Facebook as well).

In the beginning he was very friendly & came behind us until we agreed to get the order done from him. He took an advance payment of 50% of the total order price for a dinning table & an entry table.

He promised to finish it in 4 to 6 weeks. Once he got the money, he started to show his attitude on us, & dragged the job for more than 5 months. We were so frustrated without having a dinning table at home for that long! After 5 months time wasted, he threatened us not to rush him & used very bad language.

He said he will not do it & will refund the money he took from us to do it! And this is after keeping us waiting for a semester to do two furniture pieces! We did not received any money from him & he had dragged it for another two months.

Then again started threatening & using bad language. We lost the money & the time waited! Beware of this scammer!

  1. Complete Scam

I’m active duty Army and am stationed in Texas. When I was in Afghanistan, I found his ad online and since he was a local vet near my hometown, I decided to give him a try and order furniture. This guy took me for $1,300! Never gave me what I ordered!
