I’ve been a client of Heckman and Associates’s for years. So I owe extra money thanks to Heckman’s poor advice. He told me to catch up on old accounts before I pay the most recent ones. I was just on the phone with an IRS agent who told me the opposite. I feel misinformed. I would have saved money if I had payed off newer accounts instead of older ones. I am now completely changing my game plan and never using Heckman’s services again.
Next time before telling me “it’s beans and rice for you for a while,” maybe get your facts straight so your services don’t end up COSTING me more money. Heckman has been impatient with me and has made mistakes before but this really is the cherry on top for me. I would not trust him as I have not gotten the impression that he has my best interests in mind.
He has advised me in the wrong direction in terms of my financial situation. He has been disrespectful in suggesting how I handle my personal finances when it’s none of his business. His office has called me asking for tax documents I had already given them, leading me to stress out over possibly lost documents. My experiences have been almost overwhelmingly negative.
It’s almost impressive how much his services have screwed me over. He’s hung up on me before. I highly urge anyone considering his services to search elsewhere as I wouldn’t trust this person with your finances unless you don’t mind accruing extra fines and penalties from the IRS.
