Heal

The Most Difficult Experience Of My Life

Great idea, awful in reality. DO NOT use Heal for your annual physical.

The problems I have faced with them include: their nurse couldn’t draw blood, after two tries you have to go to LabCorp, which defeats the purpose of having a house call doctor, and getting the results back from them has been the most difficult experience of my life.

You cannot get a doctor on the phone to tell you your bloodwork results.

They will not email you the results, you need to speak to them, and they will not leave a voicemail if they tried to call you, so it is up yo you to try and catch them on the phone (you have to catch them between appointments, practically impossible), or they will re-schedule, call you from a blocked number, and again, leave no voicemail.

I’m super disappointed at the service I received, it was not at all what I expected given the cool idea behind the service.

  1. Awesome, thorough service.

Awesome, thorough service. Love the convenience. My doctor was very kind and knowledgable.

  2. Horrible service. Would NOT recommend.

This is one of the worst services I have ever used. My child has a medical exemptions from vaccines due to a very adverse reactions to a vaccination received at age 3. Our pediatrician provided us a warning and filled out a medical exemption form.

A couple of weeks ago my child was not feeling well and our pediatrician was out of town, we decided to try heal. The doctor was condescending and rude about vaccines. We explained she has a medical exemption due to a very adverse reaction to a vaccine.

Shortly after the doctor’s visit we received a TERMINATION OF RELATIONSHIP letter. We had our pediatrician submit the medical exemption for her. They IGNORED it and called to say that their decision stands. They refused to speak to our pediatrician and refused to analyze the medical records.

  3. But based on responses from the company below it appears to be the case.

Read a post on a message board that I didn’t think could be true, but based on responses from the company below it appears to be the case.

Heal refuses to treat children with medical exemptions from vaccines? What a baffling stance from a health care provider, to refuse to provide healthcare to those must vulnerable.
