I have had my taxes done Gray Proctor & McMannis for a couple of years. Extremely expensive, but I stayed.
Last year, I was so unorganized that I was convinced to get Quick Books and put my info there.
I was told, I would be shown how to implement it myself.
Person there did not have time, so she said she would put the data in for me and charge me for that.
Not much more, she said. My bill was already $1600 for personal and business.
One man contracting business. small potatoes…. I got the bill it was over $6000, and I still had to pay IRS over $15K.
Then the girl quit.. I have tried to negotiate with the firm, but they tell me “It looks correct” Seriously… This is insane.
Do not use this firm. H&R Block could have done my taxes just the same… Nothing special… And now they are charging me interest….
