  1. Consumer scam alert

FreeRateUpdate posts knowingly false teaser rates online to generate consumer calls and then sells the consumer info to mortgage brokers WITHOUT consumer approval. It is a scam to consumers and mortgage brokers who are buying their worthless leads.

  2. SCAMMERS #1

FreeRateUpdate: They sold us $2,000 leads, sweating and promising they are all good and that we will make money, and everyone we call it was a failure NOT a True lead, most of them talk bad and in addition, they told us not to bother them anymore, that they never put up for leads and not to call them anymore. The bottom line, this company; FreeRateUpdate Is a big scam. When we tried to complain and told them that we want our money back because of the above reason and then some. they too were not professional, and they spoke badly to us also said now is too BAD they will not refund the money of course.
all I am saying is Do Not Trust this company they are playing scammers.
Their leads are not true leads, all they are doing scamming small and desperate companies out of money. We don’t have to spare, but in the hope of getting some leads to survive we buy their lead, and here is the result PLain and simple SCAM 🙁
    Couldn’t be more sorry:(

  3. Ask them not to share my information or pull credit

Despite my clear instructions they shared my info and my phone is blowing up with calls. If my credit gets pulled, I will seek legal action. Terrible service!

  4. Great Lead quality and the Live Transfers are Incredible

I don’t normally leave many reviews or respond to others but when I came across the only other review on this site I had to speak up. I have been purchasing internet leads on and off from FreeRateUpdate.com for over 5 years. The quality has been great and I normally get a return from the leads themselves but have grown my network tremendously from them. I recently started purchasing Live Transfers and have not seen a higher return on investment from any of my other lead sources. I am closing them at around 12% and am thrilled. The previous review on this site looks like a personal attack and a site like dirty scams should do a better job vetting the crap it displays.

    1. Tony, I read your post and I am curious to know what company you are with. You claim to have had great success with freerateupdate.

    2. Bragging your company secret?

Seems you should boast your rare post somewhere else. This site is for those interested in possibly getting a low rate loan. And reviewing their company. That not understandable to you? If so, why deliberately give the wrong answer? All you did was brag about how much money you made off this website. Ha, ha, what a joke.

Readers flushing your review and you should have saved all our time reading, and mine phone typing. That’s how ludicrous your post was. I rarely post an especially on my phone, but felt compelled to post reading your lol chest beating rant that had NOTHING to do with the question. Should have saved it for a hot date, company picnic with Mama, or rented an advertising board.

Bragging your company strategy to success? You should have listened to your parents. Not a gentleman at all. And I don’t believe anyone believes a word you say. People that are successful don’t have to work so hard for attention. Go back to bed. Dream on!

    3. Proof that this recommendation is a scam

Am very suspect that “Tony” would recommend an extra paid service from Freerateupdate – unless he actually works for Freerateupdate. As proof that this company is a scam, just search for rates online and you will find Freerateupdate’s false teaser rates they use to generate consumer calls. Then call the number and see if the rep asks you if it’s okay to distribute your info. The rep will also tell you some BS as to why that teaser rate in not available. They then sell these worthless leads to mortgage brokers. So this company is scamming both sides of the fence. Wonder what “Tony” is going to say next….
