Had a horrible experience At Fogg Maxwell Lanier & Remington Eye Care! The staff were rude, and not personable. It felt hostile and cold the entire time.
When I asked about getting contacts instead of glasses, they scheduled me for a contact lense fitting, KNOWING my Rx of trial contacts weren’t in.
I just had a newborn baby, and I also have a 3 year old. They just non-chalantly said, “Oh, you’ll just have to come back again when we actually have your Rx of trials.”
Then, I had a horrible experience trying to get the WRONG trials in.
When I finally got them in, I made the comment, that my vision was still blurry.
Only THEN did the Dr. reveal to me that glasses will ALWAYS give me better vision than contacts.
I also have a lazy eye with Prism in my glasses. Doc said he thought I could get away with the contact without the prism.
WRONG. I had a headache trying to keep my eyes together within the first 30 mins!
So, I told them I’m not going forward with the contacts, after all of that and I’d like to use my vision care benefit for just a new set of frames.
Oh, but now they’re saying they’re going to charge me FULL price for the contact lense fitting apt and THEN bill my ins for the glasses!
These people do not treat their patients right. Never going back again.
