DO NOT USE Flagship Credit Acceptance I signed a loan with them for my car 2014.

My rate was “Supposed” to be 3.99% Next thing you know I check my credit and they put me as living in Tom’s River NJ, I’ve never lived in Toms River, they got my account mix up with another person with the same last name.

I’ve paid all payments on time, I come to find out they are charging me 10.6% interest.

When I finally proved what they did they refused to fix the account so I started paying 1,000 a month just to pay it off.

If pay anything over your payment they REFUSE to apply it to interest they kept saying “Oh you’re a month ahead or whatever” I starting paying 1,000 a month just to get rid of them.

It took 4 attempts and me specifically telling them to apply it to the principal (Or they won’t and Yes, FOUR times) they keep saying, oh it didn’t work, Or for some reason it wouldn’t go through They kept doing ANYTHING to stop me from paying more and to charge me as much interest as they could. I’ve never seen anything like this.

I only owe about 3,000 now and have retained counsel as I finally got what they said is my paper work and it DOES NOT match up to my car, my payment or anything.

I will get my money back. I’ve turned them into the FTC. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

    I’m a bartender, and somehow managed a $904 payment a MONTH I’ve been paying on it actively for 14 months and recently got two months behind, absolutely ZERO help, just threatening letters talking about how it will be repossessed by x.
    I informed them Saturday that the 2k will be paid BY the 11th and they are still calling every day.

    This car isn’t even worth what I’m paying and when it’s all said and done, I’ll have paid $64 k for a 24 k car at the rate it’s going. Not a single dime has dropped off the balance.

  2. Hate flagship

    I was approved for extension for 2 months due to COVID and hospital stay never received my doc sign from them but ready to report my credit report as 30 days later I’m still fighting now for these documents for me to sign . When you call them they keep telling you things over and over again where the document I need to sign so they wait until it expire to start the process again . I hate this company for financial reasons I don don’t remitted this company to anyone they will fuck up your credit.

  3. If I could give a rating of 0 I would. Customer service is extremely unhelpful. The representatives lack adequate knowledge and need more training. Therfore, I try not to call. However, recently I called regarding a simple question concerning my statement and the representative initially wouldn’t give me an opportunity to ask the question. After I stressed how ridiculous the call was going, I was finally given the opportunity to ask my question. Also, the billing statements need an improvement. Statements lack essential information that other finance companies provide. The website is very vague regarding billing information.

    I have Flagship. I paid them over $3,000 in 3 on my car. They said I was still late. So we paid them another $1,600 the next month. They still were calling us and harrissing us saying we owed them more money. Needless to say husband finally told them to kiss his ass, and stop calling him at work. They harassed us from Day 1 that we bought our car and drove it off the lot. Now it’s total and it’s in the insurance hands and they’ve paid their money. They are still saying we owe payments. Still on my credit and I can’t buy another car because of them.

  5. This is a predatory lender that holds others people money after you pay off the loan. This company is so shady, unethical, rude, slow, horrible, and they hold your money for 30-45 days and not provide you interest on the money they owe you. This is not legal and shady af because they hold our money months and weeks longer than needed and earn interest on our money. Do Not Get a Loan with this terrible sub prime shady predatory lender. With the worst customer service and shady business tactics I have ever seen. Disgraceful btw send me my fucking money you scumbags. They will not send my money, they hang up are rude incompetent disrespectful and just make excuses and lies. Need my money sent asap

    This is a predatory lender that holds others people money after you pay off the loan. This company is so shady, unethical, rude, slow, horrible, and they hold your money for 30-45 days and not provide you interest on the money they owe you.     I would agree with all the other statements that if I could leave a zero star or negative I would in heartbeat! Super unprofessional, terrible customer service, no one is on the same page! Super annoying, re-financing with them was the biggest mistake ever!

  8. I verified the numbers both time on my phone and that's not what was punched in.

    Please fix your phone payment system. It has worked fine for years. Today you could tell it had been changed. It took 3 phone calls to get it to take the correct information. It’s almost like you are hoping that people’s payments will get screw up so you can charge a fee.

    The first payment I punched in as $494.74. It recorded it as $4947.40. The second one recorded as $494.72. I verified the numbers both time on my phone and that’s not what was punched in.

  9. WORST Customer Service Ever

    WORST Customer Service Ever..Paid loan off in full on, did not notify me until that the checking account number was entered incorrectly on THEIR end after telling me initially it popped up correctly and then had the nerve to charge me additional interest to correct & proceed to receive my title. What a joke, “zero customer service” shame on Pedro’s “Manager” who shouldn’t be managing.

    Horrible customer service and poor business ethics. Call center drops calls and doesn’t call back. Customer service doesn’t know anything other then the little bit of info on their screen.

    They have owed me money for 4 months now and nobody knows how to get me the check. The people over issuing those checks dont have phones at their desk. well that’s what I am told. Worst finance company ever.
