Five Stone Tax Advisers

No Communication

I was left entirely unpleased with Five Stone Tax Advisers after using them to contest a residential property tax assessment in Austin.

There was almost no communication from them during the entire process, and when I called them each month to try and get an update, the agent on the phone just stated there was no new information.

I did not even learn of the results of the process until I received an overdue bill notice from them in the mail.

Fortunately (I guess?), the bill is only for about $20, as they did almost nothing to reduce my property tax assessment (unlike my neighbors, who used a different service and had theirs reduced by thousands).

I will not be using this service again, and could not in good conscience recommend them to others.

  1. 5 STONE TAX SCAMMERS! LOST $5000 to them

I needed help negotiating my taxes with the IRS so I called this firm. They sent salespersons after me like hungry cheetahs. They promised me leaps and bounds as they passed me back and forth while each came-in-and-out of the picture. Once their cleaver and convincing promises of a helpful hand embraced my vulnerable and trusting heart in need of REAL help, I was quickly setup for payments.

After three years of payments and me following their instructions, the IRS rejected the negotiations. I asked for all my papers and showed them to other tax experts… They all shook their heads and informed me that nothing was done professionally, and that I had been taken advantage of. Now, my taxes’ interest grew in thousands, and lost over 5k to this unprofessional firm.

They said the IRS rejected the Offer In Compromise due to me not filling my 2016 tax on time, but that’s false. All they have to show is one page of writing. They went as far to smear my case online on another business review website.

    WAMMY!

    BE VERY CAUTIOUS WITH THEM!
