Fidelity National Title

Worse

Fidelity National Title sent hundreds of thousands of dollars to the wrong account. Let that sink in.

They had one job. We sold our house and they were paid to facilitate the transaction (basically push paper).

They made a mistake while transferring the balance of our mortgage and sent our loan payoff to my checking account, instead of our mortgage account.

Worse, then they accused me of being ugly on the phone when I was hurriedly working to fix their mistake.

Use another company, not these clowns.

  1. We filed a letter of rescission with the lender and demanded that the monies be returned.

There was an amount of $36,000.00 That was supposed to be paid to Santa Clara County, which had a lien against the property. This amount still has NOT been paid as of. The loan documents say that payment shall not begin on the loan until the escrow funds have been dispersed.

Fidelity denies that the funds were not dispersed, but cannot show proof of a wire transfer or cancelled check. When we discovered this fraud/error we conacted Fidelity and Home123/New Century in writing and by phone and were given the run around every time. We filed a letter of rescission with the lender and demanded that the monies be returned.
