Fidelity Investments

What a God Awful Institution this organization is. I hate them

Nothing but trouble, for years! Over the past four days, I’ve tried to add an account to my EFTtransfers and delete two others. I kept getting the “”We’re sorry, but we can’t process your request right now. Please try again later, or add a bank by mail instead.”

I called customer service, and asked them to add the account and delete the others. He deleted the others, but when adding the new account he insisted that he would delete first, then add the other account.

I objected, because I was worried that he might succeed in deleting the other accounts, and fail adding the account. But he absolutely insisted on doing it his way. And, of course, that’s exactly what happened! Now, I have no EFT transfer methods, and I’m screwed.

What a God Awful Institution this organization is. I hate them, and soon I will no longer have an account with them. You shouldn’t either!

  1. I would rather invest with another institute.

I would rather invest with another institute. Had better experiences with other companies. Unfortunately I’ve had no choice as the company I work for switch investment companies to these incompetent, fee driven, poor customer service, for my 401K.

I never received info on my requests, calls not returned in a timely manner or at all. You know they charge you a fee and have it written to charge that fee for doing nothing every 6 months. read the fine print and double check every charge or transaction fee before you sign anything. I cant wait until my company changes again. But I am also afraid, crossing my fingers and praying.

  2. Fidelity Investments Scammer

I was doing quite well investing on my own, but FEEDELITY convinced me to sign up for a maneged account. After paying $2300 in fees my returns after 8 months are a little over 1%. All I can say is that it was the worst mistake I’ve ever maid.

At the same time the DOW and S&P are up double digit percents and I’ve got 1%. I beleive theyre better at creating fees than returns on your investment.

  3. This company is careless.

This company is careless. They will not let you with draw your money citing bogus reasons. Such as updating zip code requires two week delay. Then they donot do the update and perpetuate the withdrawel delay.

I do not trust them. When I made online fund investment requests they ignored them. This cost me $5,500.00 in losses. I hate them.

  4. Bad service

Had accounts here for many years, then a couple years ago one of their client specialists (Clara O.) sent my tax forms by e-mail to another customer. Mistakes happen – but this was a big one – and I judge people/companies by how they clean up their mess. Fidelity, Clara, and her manager Christopher D. came up short big time.

Clara seemed distracted and like she didn’t care, so I escalated to her manager. I found him to be condescending and completely without empathy. I feel like I probably could have pursued this with some govt entity as a violation of my privacy, but just decided to move my accounts. Life’s too short….
