I had used David’s accounting services in the past for my individual returns which he always handled well for me.
I recently switched my companies payroll over to him which turned out to be a nightmare.
The employees werent paid when they should have been, one direct deposit never hit but was deducted from our business account and have not been able to reach him or any staff members to research it .
When I advised that Id like to move my payroll back to paychex due to the unfortunate error but would leave the accounting services with him instead of tying to rectify the situation or speak with me to discuss he left a voicemail at my office stating that he was terminating the relationship if I was going to act that way the first time there was a mistake and that it wasnt worth his time to do our accounting if we werent also doing payroll and that he had quoted us a cheaper price because we were doing both services.
He also blamed me for providing hours and wages on Tuesday for a Thursday payroll however my part timers hours vary and cant predict how many hours they will work a week in advance.
Paychex I was able to call in the day before our employees were paid.
I found it to be one of the most offensive unprofessional experiences I have ever encountered .
I terminated my existing contracts to move over to his company and now I am in limbo with my businesses accounting and payroll scrambling to find a solution.
