Dr. Susan Lewis MD

Billing Is A Nightmare

Although she has great recommendations, I wouldn’t go back to Dr. Susan Lewis.

The billing process is a nightmare.

This is primarily due to the inept billing company and the hospital system.

I spent very little time with the doctor and was told that only half of my knee MRI was available for the doctor to look at.

This even though it was downstairs and cost me more than $2,000.

Six months later, my knee is still in the same condition as six months ago, despite all the hassles and time spent at the hospital to see Dr. Lewis.

These things can be hit or miss, but my experience was not one of them.

  1. She cares about her patients and does the write thing for them.

Dr. Lewis recently treated my broken leg. Dr. Lewis and her team made a challenging experience as pleasant as possible. Friends who are Doctors gave me other opinions, and all agreed that her approach was the best. She is concerned about her patients and writes for them.
It’s easy to book appointments or get in touch with Dr. Lewis through her executive assistant/scheduler.

Dr. Lewis shares a floor in the same building as a physical therapy facility. It is very convenient as Dr. Lewis frequently spoke with my physical therapist trainer and vice versa.

  2. When you go to a specialist, the goal is to find out what is wrong and to fix it.

When I had to amputate my left ACL, Dr. Lewis was there. Since then, I have had my left ACL torn, and I have also had a second ACL tear on the other side. I was also recently injured in a car accident. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Lewis. She is technically brilliant, and she is a skilled surgeon.
I have read all the posts, and billing is hard work. It is well worth the effort to become a Doctor of Susan Lewis. The goal of a specialist is to diagnose and fix the problem.

  3. This office is completely lacking in ethics and decency.

Do not go to this place if you don’t like being scammed or by insurance companies. I was only able to spend 10 minutes with Dr. Lewis and was then charged $130.
The staff at the office assured me that my insurance company would pay everything, except for the copay, when I made the appointment. This office lacks ethics and decency.
