Public service announcement: CHOOSE ANOTHER DOCTOR. My sister came in yesterday to get her tonsils removed.
After the procedure she was given medication in the form of pills.
Yes pills. If you’ve ever had a tonsillectomy, you know your throat will be in severe pain.
You can barely swallow your own saliva let alone pills. My sister tried to take the pills the first day.
She trusted the doctor. But she was in too much pain and knew she can’t do the pills again.
We all encouraged her to call the office and ask to have meds switched to liquid form.
She called and was rejected. THE OFFICE STAFF REFUSED TO SWITCH EVEN AT THE REQUEST OF THE PATIENT WHO IS IN PAIN.
Sherry (or Carrie) said “the doctor doesn’t like to switch medications”.
What kind of reason is this? Consider this a public announcement: go to another doctor.. This place is unaccommodating and unfriendly.
