Dr. Mumtaz Ali

Make An Appointment

I’ve been going to Dr. Mumtaz Ali for several years as a worker’s comp pain management doctor and I’ve written bad reviews before.

He gets all upset and wants to know why he gets a bad review, well here it is. 2 appointments ago, Dr. Mumtaz Ali told me they were out of Naproxan for my pain.

I was told I would receive a phone call when they got their order. No phone call.

I had enough to cover me so I didn’t call them. My next appointment, Dr. Mumtaz Ali told me the same thing. Still no phone call.

When I called, I was told that the Dr. didn’t write me a prescription so they couldn’t give it to me.

I was told they would talk to the doctor and call me back. No call back.

I called the next day and left a message with the answering service. No call back.

I called again and was told again, the doctor didn’t write the prescription so I couldn’t get any.

When I asked to speak to the doctor, I was told he wasn’t in…he was on a short vacation.

Just an fyi, he’s due to go on vacation halfway through September.

I was also told I could take to him on my next appointment.

So, the staff seems to be unwilling or unable to help and the doctor doesn’t seem to care.

If you have an appointment scheduled with Dr. Mumtaz Ali, be prepared to wait at least 1 to 2 hours to see him.

Count your meds. If they screw it up, they’re not willing to fix it.

  1. I would highly recommend Dr. Ali to anyone!

Dr. Ali is always available, who’s primary concern is the health care of his patients. He has personalized service and goes out of his way to “problem solve” using all of his contacts and knowledge to offer multiple solution.

He’s staff are GREAT! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Ali is genuinely attentive kind, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Dr. Ali to anyone!

  2. Hes a kind man who cares about his patients!

Dr. Ali is a really great dr. Hes eaay to talk to and has excellent bedside manners. I have a nerve test and he needed to put needles into my nerves to have a listen .i hate being poked but dr Ali. Took my mind off the needle and my testwas over before I knew it. Hes a kind man who cares about his patients!

  3. Never Again

I have been Dr. Ali’s pt. for 12 yrs. and I know he is a very good ,kind and knowledgeable doctor. He does not believe in over-medicating but he understands that the more you take the more you will want and takes steps to avoid that .All of the opiates I have taken never worked much to dull the pain until I was given Gabapentin,

then I was able to cut my opiates by 3/4. It stopped the screaming fire allover my upper back. I recommend him as a pain control specialist but you had better be in real pain as he will do nerve conduction studies and order MRIs to find out what is wrong and what kinds of pain you are dealing with. I only wait about 15-30 minutes before being called to see him.
