Dr. Joseph Walters
I Am So Disappointed With The ServiceI made an appointment and went to Dr. Joseph Walters’s office. But the girl at front desk told me she saw my information as a new patient in the system but there is no appointment record at all.
She said I must had canceled this appointment, or somebody canceled for me.
I certainly know that I didn’t cancel it, neither nobody else would cancel it.
I was so disappointed because: 1. I really need to see the doctor, but after waiting so long, I wasted my time and has to reschedule;
2. the girl at front desk said I canceled the appointment without admitting that the person who answered my phone didn’t put down my appointment.
This is so irresponsible; 3. she was trying to cover this without even telling anyone else or asking the doctor if there is anything they can do to help.
I want to see this doctor because of good reviews, but now I am so disappointed with the service.
I needed to schedule an appt.
I needed to schedule an appt. for my son so I go to my insurance’s website to find our primary care physician. I get the name, address and phone number for Dr. Walters. I call them to schedule the appt. and get transferred to the person who handles insurance matters.
She questions me about my insurance plan but because Dr. Walters name is not listed on the card as my son’s PCP she refuses to continue until we change his PCP to Dr. Walters. I explain that the insurance’s website has Dr. Walters as his PCP but still no.
So I call the insurance company and they again give me Dr. Walters name and number. So I called again. This time she says that Dr. Walters doesn’t want my son as a patient, claiming that he overheard the conversation from earlier. Then she pretends to look in the system to see if he has been assigned to them but says he has not been assigned.
I have had no contact directly with Dr. Walters, only what his office staff claims to have said concerning not having him as a patient. Their loss, I would think having a fairly healthy 15 year old would be an easy patient.
