Horrible Experience

HORRIBLE & HUMILIATING EXPERIENCE – 2 HOURS AND 15 MINUTES COMPLETELY WASTED & DIDN’T EVEN GET TO MEET THE DOCTOR…DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE.

First time to this office/Doctor. I scheduled my appointment a month ahead of time for 10:00 AM.

I arrived 15 minutes early to fill out my paperwork. There is one couple sitting in the waiting room.

At 10:22 there are now three other couples sitting in the waiting room and the front desk person calls my name and says that a room is ready for me, but there is a problem; the BLINDS DON’T CLOSE all the way making the EXAM ROOM VISIBLE from the outside…but it is on the 7th floor so it’s up to me.

I am very concerned as this visit was for my yearly exam which normally includes a PAP and breast exam…so I ask if I can have another room.

She said yes, but that there were a lot of walk-ins so she didn’t know how much longer the wait would be; so I said I guess it will have to work (as I had already been waiting for 25 minutes past my appointment time and I needed to get to work after my appointment).

I changed awkwardly into the paper trying to avoid the open window in the freezing cold exam room.

I wait patiently on the table…then lie down for awhile…then sit back up because I think I hear someone coming…then lay back down trying to keep warm…and it feels like an eternity. No one has even come by to greet me or update me in any way so I look at my phone and it is 11:30!!! I had been WAITING FOR ONE HOUR!!!

I immediately call the front desk girl from my room and asked when the doctor would be in; she said I don’t know, she should be there soon…I told her I had been waiting over an hour and needed to get to work and asked if she could please find the doctor and ask her to see me ASAP. She said she can’t do that and said she should be there soon.

20 minutes later @ 11:50 am…nearly 2 HOURS LATER…still, no one has come into my room.

I am so upset and frustrated at this point that I didn’t even feel comfortable with her touching me so I put my clothes on and walk out.

The doctor is standing right there in the hallway and says NOTHING to me, she won’t even look at me, she just looks down and walks away slowly!

I ask for a refund of my co-payment which took an additional 10 minutes, the front desk girl doesn’t even apologize to me even though she knows I had been waiting so long and am very clearly upset.

It is now 12:00 PM and I have completely wasted 2 hours and 15 minutes without ever even meeting the doctor.
