Dr. Durga Madala

Very Rude To Me

I didn’t get a chance to meet Dr. Durga Madala, but by the way her office staffs handles her customers, not sure how she is with her patients.

I had some questions about insurance and wanted to find out about fees and one of the staffs which unfortunately didn’t get her name was very rude to me and telling me how busy this office is and would not let me talk, and after being yelled at I asked her to just cancel my appointment and she just said very rudely it’s done.

When I told her that she doesn’t need to be rude, she totally disagreed which is to be expected.

So good luck dealing with her office staff and she wasn’t the only one with no patience all of the staff I dealt with were the same way, so I wonder what this says about the doctor.

I will also notify my primary doctor, so maybe she can think twice before referring her to her patients.

  1. Drug side affects not known or ignored

I thought she was perfect until she insisted I double my Bystolic. It helped me is good medicine, but my pulse dropped from 99 to the 60s.

I said I was worried that the low vibration would not take another Bystolic at that time.

The literature says it lowers pulse, but she denied it. She insisted I take another one.

She got her nurse involved, and they attacked me verbally. I was shocked I get along with all my doctors. I have respect for them.

I am Catholic and have been having a wrong time with this. She kept calling me evil at home for no reason but to call me names. I begged her to stop. Right now, I need help. I may have to seek help.

I have heart problems and am 80 years old. Never have I raised my voice or yelled at her. Her personality makes her unfit to practice. I still am in shock.

  2. Awesome doctor and wonderful staff. I do not understand the above two reviews. Dr.Madala is a very knowledgeable physician and a caring as well as compassionate person. I am glad she is my cardiologist.

  3. My review is below.
Dr Madala is a cardiologist , not a scam
While things did not go well the word scam is in my opinion unacceptable.
This is an authentic cardiologist. I have listed my disagreement below.

    1. You really liked Bystolic as it really helped you. But you still
Went ahead and wrote this type of review. What in the world is going on here Alice ?

  4. Not familiar with drugs she is prescribing

I liked this Doctor until she was going to prescribe a second med that lowered my pulse. I was in trouble and asked the head pharmacist if I was safe taking the drug twice and with a pulse that dropped to 52 from 99 a second pill I said I would not take.
That causes her nurse to yell at me saying How dare you go over Dr’s head and speak to the head pharmacist. I tried to explain. I was very ill and then Dr Madala came on the phone and admonished me for being rude.
I was treated badly because her nurse yelled I called two days in a row. The previous day I did not get an answer to “ Is it safe to take a second pill..Dr Madala said my Pulse was in the high 90’s. That was BEFORE the medication.
This doctor allows her nurse to mistreat a very ill 80 year old heart patient.
I will never go back there. I plan also to lodge a complaint. No patient should be abused by a heart doctor AND her nurse. I was never in my life treated this way. I have never been rude. I was protecting myself and not in a rude way.
Dr Madala I hope you get familiar with Bystolic. It does lower pulse. You were wrong. However the one pill has helped me so much. I feel better and will be treated by my GP.

    1. Hello Alice
It is very disturbing that you are writing a review like this on strange place called dirty Scam. You were told to stop Diltiazem and start Bystolic as your heart rate is fast at 92 beats/min. You liked the Bystolic very much and wanted to continue that. You did not tell your pharmacist that you were supposed to stop the Diltiazem and take the Bystolic instead. The notes were very clearly written and given to you in the instructions.
Please try to be kind to hard working doctors during these hard times and please do not make up stuff about my staff. I was standing next to my assistant when she spoke with you and she was very sweet and kind . I never yell and admonish my patients on the phone or in person or ever. There is no reason for me to yell at an 80 yo lady. Please get some help from your GP about these type of problems
