Delta Community Credit Union

Horrible Experience

Do NOT do business With Delta Community Credit Union. I tried to apply for an auto loan. Great credit score, all ducks in a row, large down payment, etc. had my sh** together.

Well, I had a horrible phone communication with a loan officer (in the call center) named Julie.

She wasn’t any help at all and lied about me signing a title for this car already.

She also spoke badly about the dealer who I was trying to purchase the car from, which so happens to be my husband who has been in business for 4 years, AND a customer of theirs.

When trying to close the deal after bringing more paperwork, speaking to the loan manager, and other head honcho’s, I STILL needed to change paperwork.

I was told to drive to get paperwork changed then come back.

When after everything was said and done, the paperwork wouldn’t have been an issue.

Bottom line, the staff at the branch did an “ok” job to help, but the whole experience was a disaster.

I did not feel welcome here, NOR a customer. Guess they didn’t want my business.

There are a lot of details that are not listed (because they are private) but this was a horrible experience and nothing went right.

I went to Wells Fargo right across from them and had a wonderful experience there. AND they were super helpful in my car loan.

  1. No technical support help as stated

Benn a long time customer and I am at a loss and considering leaving the credit union for good.
I use Quicken home for all my finance needs, I replaced my computer and reloaded Quicken. It will not connect with delta to add account. July 24th I requested quicken help (i.e technical support to resolve this issue. I was told 1 to 2 business days to expect a call to fix it.
3 days of waiting for a call, I called again. Was told a new ticket was placed and it would be another 1 to 2 days. What happened to the first call and 1 to 2 days to call me, they never did call me. This fix is only a password problem with direct connect. 5 minutes at most to fix. I’m really upset, delta should have a better way to resolve direct connect issues. I can’t stand by the phone for 5 days waiting for a call I never get. Help me

  2. I knew something wasn't right because my direct deposit was in my account, I had already checked.

I have had the worst experience dealing with this bank it’s ridiculous. I noticed on my account earlier this month where I was being charged NSF fee’s on transaction where the money was in the bank that went back three months. I printed out the bank statements and went into the bank on July 5th where the lady at the front desk reviewed them and refunded my account over $150.

I also showed her where a cash app transaction had been taken out of my account twice, in which I filled out the dispute paperwork to have the bank put my $50 back into my account. Low and behold I’m thinking everything was settled and my account was good. Well fast forward a week later, I get up early that Friday morning to get gas and I get an error that my debit card was declined.

I knew something wasn’t right because my direct deposit was in my account, I had already checked. So I drove to their atm in Fayetteville, and once again no luck. The receipt stated card was reported stolen. I was so furious because I hadn’t got not one call from the bank stating my card was reported stolen nor had I called and reported it stolen.

So I immediately called customer service to be told my card was disabled because there was fraud reported to the account.

  3. DCCU has the worst customer service

DCCU has the worst customer service i wish that they would put more importance into the customer service call center.
