Transfer WITHOUT My ApprovalColumbus Metro Federal Credit Union have came up with another thieving tactic! I have my two monthly income checks come into my Checking Account via Direct Deposit.
They have this thieving policy if your balance falls below 100 dollars in either in your checking or savings account that any transaction you make will cost you a 50 dollar fee!
I had a decent balance in my checking account when my 2 checks were deposited.
I went to check my balance 10 days after my checks got deposited it only said I only had 98 dollars in my checking and most of my money was in my savings account and they made that transfer WITHOUT my approval and if either balance ends up below 100 dollars a 50 dollar fee would be taken….do not do business with those thieves unless you have a lot a money to give away to somebody else!

I will NEVER give this institution my business again.
If I could leave a negative star, I would! Doing business with Columbus Metro Credit Union was one of the biggest headaches!! I have had many auto loans (over 20) and this bank provided by far, the worst customer service I have received from a financial institution. From the customer service we received on the phone, to the snooty, self entitled teller that I had the pleasure of meeting! (Sarcasm).
The options given to pay your loan are absolutely ridiculous. Write a check or pay cash….unless you want to pay an addition $7.95 to make your payment!
The service I received was so horrible that they only received ONE payment from me before I refinanced with Wright Patt Credit Union (who I’ve had for years, with NO complaints). It’s a shame the dealership I purchased my car from didn’t do business with Wright Patt because this whole fiasco would have been avoided.
Needless to say, I will NEVER give this institution my business again.
They like to transfer you around to several different departments before someone is able to assist you. I seriously cannot express in words how horrible it was dealing with this bank.
