Made Everything Worse
My family and I are in the process of moving from California to Texas. It hasn’t been easy. CLM Mortgage has made everything worse.
We started working with the back in October of 2017. The house we decided to go with was to be completed with construction in May.
We filled out all the necessary documents as requested. Our loan officers name was Margie Tremble.
One we knew for sure was that ok me of us had to get a job in Texas.
Long story short… My girlfriend has a house under her mother’s name but she pays the mortgage.
But her name is nowhere near the title or home. CLM put her non-obligated mortgage payment as a factor in denying our loan.
They contacted Chesmar homes (our builder)and told them that we weren’t going to pre-qualify.
This was week more than 45 days out. In turn Chesmar cancelled our contract and sold our house to another buyer but for a higher list price.
Communication with CLM was very broad and minimal. They didn’t seem like they cared about our well being.
We spoke to the manager. His name is Mitch. He was no help. He was not sympathetic for our loss.
My first and only experience with CLM Mortgage has been a nightmare.
Anyone who is looking to buy or refinance can't go wrong with CLM!

CLM was wonderful from beginning to end. Mike initially explained the process as well as what my approximate mortgage was going to be. Katie then kept me up to date throughout the entire process.
Both Mike and Katie quickly emailed back answers to all questions I asked. Closing was then extremely smooth and the mortgage was the amount I anticipated.
