Chicago Title

The Worst Title Company

Chicago Title Is the worst title company I’ve ever dealt with!

They were extremely slow to get the paperwork to me, the buyer, and I had to calll to get home warranty paperwork.

The processor needs to be retrained in customer service as well!

I would NEVER use this title company at the Gallardia location in Oklahoma City!

  1. SCAM COMPANY.

SCAM COMPANY. I don’t know who these people are or why they’ve contacted me. Today I received a RANDOM check for $500.00 with a note cute out from a bigger piece of paper that looks like it was typed by an ignorant 8 year old telling me to contact (617)-836-4667, which upon calling, I found out was through a FREE TEXTING APP, not a company or a personal number.

I’ve done quite a bit of research on these people & have discovered that they’re VERY crooked people, based on other people’s reviews. They are scam artist. DO NOT RESPOND TO RANDOM CHECKS, DO NOT CASH, DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY WHATSOEVER.

  2. This is very sloppy, and it's inexcusable not to return phone calls as promised.

They failed to properly prepare the deed for a property sale and then when it was returned 2 months later, they failed to respond and complete the transaction. They failed to help me when I called to get it resolved. They told me someone else would call me right away,

but at the end of the day, no call. The result for me is not having received a property tax statement before the taxes were due, resulting in penalties, and paying a statement still in someone else’s name. You pay a title company so that this does not happen. This is very sloppy, and it’s inexcusable not to return phone calls as promised.

  3. This is not the company to hire if you want accuracy or responsive service.

This company handled my purchase of a house that closed on March1. The day before the closing I was notified by the realtor that there were outstanding bills that hadn’t been taken care of so I had to run around to get them paid by the seller. After the closing, I received a letter from my county office that the legal description had been written incorrectly by the title company leaving out a needed number.

I’ve called 8 times and sent emails. I’ve left messages begging for help in this matter but no return calls or mail. Whenever I do reach a human, they just pass me off to the voice mail of another employee. When I look at how much they were paid for this service, I get furious. It will cost me quite a bit to get a certified copy of my title and to have the legal description written correctly. This was their job and they botched it.

Add to that the fact that they obviously don’t have any intention of correcting their error. This is not the company to hire if you want accuracy or responsive service.
