I enrolled for the seminar arranged by Certified forensic loan auditors. This company claims to be commencing the nation’s only loan certification class. The seminar was held in a different city and I had to travel. However, that was not the problem but they provided me no skills and I felt like I wasted every money I spent on them.
I paid $3000 for the seminar which they told will help in clearing the forensic loan auditor’s certification. I was very much interested in doing so and helping people save their homes. It was a scrutinization audit seminar. When I reached to the seminar, I found very few people attending the seminar. Anyway, the seminar started and I found that the person teaching us knew nothing as expected.
He was reading out of a book and was completely unprepared. It seemed that he had come to this seminar by mistake and just playing someone else’s role. They had no material to provide to us to refer later. Or, even during the seminar which never happens. At seminars like these, everyone is provided with handouts to understand what the chapters would be covered and to help remember things.
I saw people taking out their own diaries to take notes. They did not even provide any notebook to jot down the important points. The seminar was not only boring but had nothing to offer. No one was allowed to ask question in between. They said there would be different session for Q&A later after the class.
They had also organized the test after the seminar to see if we understood the things taught during the seminar. The Q&A session never happened. They directly gave us the question for the test. The questions were not at all related to what was discussed during the seminar. Even worse, I did not find anything related to what this guy taught us.
His name also seemed fake. I tried to check his profile on Facebook and could not trace him. If he was so popular, why wasn’t he available on the Facebook. After the seminar, we were told to wait for three days for the test results to come.
We all left for our places. After a week, when I did not hear anything from these guys, I called back and they said that my scores will be sent to my email address. One month passed by and I have not heard from these guys.
I am sure these people are running scam. I have requested for a refund. But I know they won’t be doing that so easy. I am confused so as to whom I should approach. If they won’t pay my money back, I would certainly involve my attorney. I have learned nothing out of the seminar but only how to make people believe in the fake promises. There is no way these guys can help anyone. These people are fraudsters. Save your money and do not pay these guys. You will be scammed for sure.
